Arrival Story:
My old owners didn't want me for some reason and they tied me to a semi-trailer with all my insturctions on paper and a note saying why they did not want me, but no one will tell me what the note said. At least they left me with my favorite toy, my squeaky duck. Some very nice people took me in and after some life changes they were no longer able to provide me with the time and attention I needed, as they are gone a lot. So they decided to take me to their daughters house, and now I get lots of attention there! When I first got to my new home, I was afraid of everything all the way down to my own "shadow". I didn't really like kids and would bark and growl at them and run off with my tail between my legs. I do not like guns, and am somewhat afraid of deep water. I guess I am not such a good hunting prospect! :-) But slowly we are working on my fears and going from there, I am getting used to a lot of new things. Now I love to be around our kids, and like to be in shallow water. Mom says I am sure coming around.
