Arrival Story:
She's so sweet, we had to call her Sugar. Sugar just arrived in rescue. Even though she was dirty, matted and frightened, it was easy to see that this little girl was a diamond in the rough. The fact that she sat through hours of grooming without a single protest demonstrates her sweet personality. Everyone who has met Sugar, from the shelter workers to the groomer, has fallen under her spell. She is a gentle, loving, little girl who wants nothing more than to lie in your arms while you rub her belly. Sugar has taken to following her foster mom around the house and wags her tail happily whenever anyone greets her. She is doing very well with potty training but needs a little work walking on lead. Weighing in at 12 lbs, she appears to be 5-6 years old. She is UTD on shots and micro chipped and will be spayed before placement.

Bio:
Twin Tiers Rescue is a small group of people helping displaced dogs find new, loving homes. We want every applicant to understand the responsibilities involved in caring for a pet. It is a lifetime commitment and many pets live 16 to 20+ years. Dogs are pack animals and bond with their human family and need to be treated as a member of the family. Fees vary by age and dog but a general guideline is: Puppies and young dogs $250-325, Adult Dogs $175-250, Seniors/special needs (9 yrs & up) $100-150. All dogs are spayed/neutered and vaccinated prior to adoption placement.
