I am so sorry to have to tell you that Lucy passed away today May 1, 2009 from complications with her pregnancy. I am so upset and sad. I love Lucy with all my heart and I miss her terribly. My heart is breaking and I don't see where I have any more tears left but just the thoughts of my precious baby girl brings more tears to my eyes. I see her everywhere I go, I see her happy sweet face and her standing there wagging her beautiful tail. She was the most beautiful perfect dog I have ever had the pleasure of owning.
She was due May 8, and I just knew something wasn't right. I carried her to my vet yesterday afternoon, and he checked her and said she was fine, but to keep an eye on her. I did, but obviously I didn't quite know what I was up against. I believe she had pregnancy toxemia. He said because she was having so many puppies the liver can't filter all the puppy waste.
Trust me I am kicking myself hard wishing I could go back and just ask him to keep her there with him with the hopes that she would still be here......but we know that's not possible, so my heart breaks!!!!

I'm not even sure where to start! Our family is so sorry for your loss I know Lucy was a wonderful dog and helod a very special place in your heart! It will be along road ahead to come to terms of loosing such an amazing dog and although we have never met Lucy in person she did many wonderful things and one of the best things is brought us together. I'll never forget getting to know you thru Lucy and I appreciate her so much for that! You are a Great Friend Tammy and my heart breaks for you and for Lucy. You will be in our Thoughts and Prayers! So very sorry for your loss with your beautiful Lucy.
God must of had some plans for her. I'm sure she is watching over you now and smiling down from above.
Just be thankful for the short period of time you had with her and cherish those moment's that I am sure will hold a very special place in your heart. God Bless you and your family and your now Angel in Heaven :)
