I am so sorry to have to tell you that Lucy passed away today May 1, 2009 from complications with her pregnancy. I am so upset and sad. I love Lucy with all my heart and I miss her terribly. My heart is breaking and I don't see where I have any more tears left but just the thoughts of my precious baby girl brings more tears to my eyes. I see her everywhere I go, I see her happy sweet face and her standing there wagging her beautiful tail. She was the most beautiful perfect dog I have ever had the pleasure of owning.
She was due May 8, and I just knew something wasn't right. I carried her to my vet yesterday afternoon, and he checked her and said she was fine, but to keep an eye on her. I did, but obviously I didn't quite know what I was up against. I believe she had pregnancy toxemia. He said because she was having so many puppies the liver can't filter all the puppy waste.
Trust me I am kicking myself hard wishing I could go back and just ask him to keep her there with him with the hopes that she would still be here......but we know that's not possible, so my heart breaks!!!!

I've been tagged by a beautiful doggie named Sweet Caroline. I told her I would play her game if she would join our new group, I Love My Dog Cafe Of Fun. Thanks for joining Sweet Caroline, you are as sweet as your name. So now I get to play tag with 7 of my friends.

1. I love my mommy with all my heart, and she knows it.
2. I get to go to work with my mommy everyday.
3. I love everything, nothing really bothers me. Mommy says I have a wonderful personality.
4. I love balls, sticks (the bigger the better), plastic drink bottles, anything I am not supposed to have.
5. I will fetch anything, just throw it and I will go get it bring it back and drop it for you.
6. I let my mommy paint my toenails.
7. I will eat anything. Eggs are my favorite.
