Arrival Story:
My boyfriend and I really wanted a golden. We decided to just go and "look" at some puppies for sale. As soon as we saw all the golden babies lined up at the fence how could we say no? We had to take one home! Jake was the most calm of the 5 that were left. He kept coming back to us and just sitting at our feet, and he was the smallest of the bunch.

Today my mommy said she was bored so she packed my brother and I into the car. I'm not quite sure what to think of this "car" thing yet. My brother seems to think it's the greatest ever, he likes to stick his head out the window, crazy boy. I just sit or lay down on the back seat trying to figure out why I'm getting bumped around so much. I was pretty excited today when we reached our destination. My mommy said it was a store just for me and my brother! I was sure happy to get out of that car! I was so happy that I peed on the sidewalk! We went into the store called "Paddywack" and there were so many toys and treats everywhere! Oh the Smells! And the people were super nice, they pet me and gave me treats! Mom bought Bailey and I a new toy and then she said we could have something out of the goodie case; she picked 2 dipped doggy cookies for us. She only gave us half a cookie each, but I was just greatful enough to get some. On the way home I started feeling kind of funny, so I just layed down. I made it about 10 miles in the car and then just as we pulled into the driveway at home I felt it creeping up my throat....I projectile vomitted all over mommy's car! She was saying something to me like, "Oh Jake why couldn't you have waited till I at least opened the door?!". I didn't really understand, all I knew is that my tummy felt a whole lot better. Mom says I'm not allowed to eat anything before going in the car anymore. Well, she gave me another cookie when we went inside and I felt kind of bad for her because she had to scrub her whole backseat down, sorry mom.
