Birthday: May 18th 2007 Likes: I like to do whatever I want and particularly what Mommy & Daddy don't want me to do! Pet-Peeves: I loath being told no! I get back at those people though by peeing on the floor. I show them! Favorite Toy: I wasn't a fan of toys until Layla came along and then I like any toy that she likes. Favorite Food: I lurve to eat anything mommy puts in my Kong (peanut butter, yogurt, carrots, apples, banana, turkey bacon) Favorite Walk: I'm not so fond of walks because mom wont let me stop and sniff everything. Best Tricks: So far sitting is my best trick besides ringing the bell to go potty Bio: Hi everybody! I'm Dudley the Studley but you can just call me Dudley. I'm not really sure why my daddy gave me that really long name. Let me tell you a little about myself. I'm a great little puppy who had a Bichon Frise mommy and a toy poodle daddy. I look like a little cotton ball but sometimes people mistake me for a labradoodle. I don't get that but I guess it's possible since I'm so curley and my coloring is a bit like a doodle. I surely wont get that big though! Forums Motto: So much to see and do! The Groups I'm In: The 3 Amigos, doodle connection, Doodle Daycare, ~~~*♥Dog Park USA♥*~~~ I've Been On Dogster Since:
Oh gosh! Today I got to take Mom on a walk all by myself! I took her about 1 1/2 miles which is sorta far for a dude like me with short legs. Mom says that I walk her much better when Layla isnt with us because I'm not competing to be in front all the time but she says I need to work on walking a straight line because I trip her an awful lot. Sheesh, I kinda think that maybe it's HER who needs to learn to walk around ME!
Anyway, on our walk there was this huge bird in the sky that made a really loud noise which got louder as it got closer to us. It didnt get close enough that I got a good look at it but Mom says it was a Chinook, whatever that is. All I know is that it didnt quite act like a regular bird and it sure was a lot louder than I remember other birds being. It flew off though and I havent seen it again since.
So...Layla has been laughing at me ever since I came home from the vet yesterday sporting a big collar. It's torture! I'm not really sure why I'm wearing it. I've been going about my business like normal....a little chew here, a little lick there....apparently it's the lick that has gotten me in trouble. Ok so maybe I've been licking a little too much. Remember that little surgery I had the other day? Oh wait, I didnt blog about that, did I? Let me backtrack....a few weeks ago Layla and I had surgeries....you know, THE surgery. Anywho....that was a few weeks ago and Layla is all healed up but apparently I'm not supposed to be licking my incision. I thought the vet told me I WAS supposed to lick it but Mom says I misunderstood. So now it's infected and THAT is why I'm wearing this goofy collar which I HATE. Dont tell anyone though, but I can still lick it!
Oh my goodness. We had some excitement here today, we had what I'm told is something called snow. It's a concept that is new to me so bear with me for a moment while I tell you just how I came to experience it. Today it was cold and rainy...I know what rain is, we get that every so often....but then it turned super cold and this white stuff started to fall from the sky. I didnt think much of it at first because it wasnt hanging around for too long. It just floated on by and then disappeared.
Well! Tonight mom was cooking something good smelling in the kitchen when I saw something out the back door. I barked a few times and mom peaked out the window to see what I was barking at. She said I was silly and was just barking at sssssnow. Yeah, I dont know then what it was either, so she let me out on the back deck and I found a coating of white stuff on the deck. I sure didnt know what it was and wasnt sure I wanted to put my paws in it. I put my front paws out the door but kept one back paw on the door jam and the other I kinda held up in the air like I wanted to step outside but wasnt sure what would happen if I did.
Finally I took the plunge and I hopped right out into it. Oh my goodness it was cold but fun. I could scratch and scratch and scratch at it but it wouldnt go away. It stayed right there! Then I figured out that I could lick it. What fabulous fun that was. Dad kept opening the door and asking me to come in but I wasnt ready yet. He kept telling mom that I had to be cold out there but the silly guy doenst realize that we're not cold when we're discovering something new!
Layla came outside after a while to check out the white stuff too but she wasnt too impressed I dont think. She just stood around out there and then went back inside with mom. She's not so adventuresome I guess.
Well, I should go because I'm told tomorrow we're taking a trip to aunt Pam's house and then another trip to Oklahoma. Guess we'll be two traveling doods tomorrow. I sure hope we get to play lots with Shelby. Mom tells me that she's gotten really big so I might have as much fun as I used to with her. We'll see!
