Favorite Walk: Actually his favorite walk is being carried. He is not yet comfortable walking much in public. Best Tricks: Just sitting and being adorable. Arrival Story: Thomas James was in the shelter for nearly a year with several other dachshunds who had been used in a breeding operation. I met him a short time after he had arrived at the shelter. When the shelter could finally release the dogs I took Thomas James and two others. I found homes for the other two, but Thomas was so damaged emotionally that I couldn't place him into another home. He has made great improvement since we committed to keeping him. He is now happy and loving with us and loves our other dogs. He is still frightened of most other people, but hopefully with patience and understanding he will improve with other people as well. I've Been On Dogster Since:
