My Life So Far...

My Barkday!!

As a few pups may know, it's my barkday tomorrow!
And since tomorrow my human sister has to go to school, the whole family decided we should go shop for my barkday present!! I was so excited!!
We went to Petco, and the first thing we saw were costumes. And I'm sure a lot of you will know what it's like when your humans want to "try on" the costumes on you, more like "FORCE on".. I had to undergo the embarassment of looking like a cowboy, a peacock, an elephant, and a witch!! But we eventually got done with it.
Next, we looked at some clothes, but there weren't any in my size of the ones my human sister wanted to buy me, so we moved on to toys. My human mom found some platic bones and bought them!! Yay! Then, we went to see the birds, but for some strange reason I didn't feel like barking at them, which was good for my humans.
Last, as we headed for the cashier, my human sister spotted some really fancy-lookin' collars (they were shiny*) and some charms to the side that you could slide on the collars. She picked out a red collar and a charm that was the letter M. She knew that was the barkday present she was going to give me! It was so pretty!! I couldn't wait to put it on! She also picked out a tag that said "Diva" which was in the shape of a star, and it came with a keychain that looked exactly the same which would be for her. So it was one for me and one for her, cute, huh?
But that wasn't it! My family bought half a pound of treats for me and Kena!! YUM!
And then, when we were paying, one of the humans that works at Petco gave me and Kena some treats!! It was turning out to be an awesome day!!!
Then, we left. As soon as we got home, my human sister put the new collar on me and I LOVE it LOVE it LOVE it!! Barkdays are the best!
