Thank you Dogster for giving me one of the Daily Diary Picks today! I am very honored. No need to send rosettes pups, but bones are always appreciated.
A number of pups have asked mom about the memorial wreath in my last diary entry. Our vet started this annual event a couple of years ago. There are a number of wreaths throughout the veterinary clinic during the holiday season. Our vet's office holds their annual "Forever in our Hearts" meeting, and then, those wanting, can decorate an ornament to place on a wreath in memory of their pet. If you cannot get down to the office, you just need to contact the clinic and they will decorate and place an ornament in memory of your pet. At the end of the holiday season, you are asked to pick up your ornament. A number of people do, but if you choose, you can leave your ornament there. We think it is a wonderful tradition that our vet has started.
Thanks again, Dogster for the honor and thanks everyone for reading my diary!
