I got outside again today. Cookie followed me. She's trying to copy some of the things that I do now because she's trying to get more attention.
Anywoof, it's almost Memorial Day, so I'd like to share a patriotic poem by a late friend of my mistress's:
STAND UP FRO OLD GLORY
Stand up for Old Glory, the red, white, and blue.
The flag of our nation; our emblem so true.
The banner that's waving to tell the whole world
America's story - as it flies - unfurled.
The red tells of millions who gave of their blood.
Who fought for our freedom, through sun and the flood.
The white is purity of our founded laws,
The purest and greatest; in spite of the flaws.
Democracy rules with principles true:
With justice for all, represented by blue.
The stripes straight and smooth mark the thirteen states.
The stars in the corner add the United States.
Stan up for Old Glory; Salute it with pride.
Thank God for the nation where freedoms abide.

And I'm going with my humans to the Memorial Day ceremony tomorrow.
And remember: When America blesses God, then God will bless America.
