Today I got out again. Mistress didn't know it though. So, she was surprised when she saw me sniffing around side of the house through the sliding glass door. The porch is covered and "fenced" in, so she lets me and Cookie out there. Anywoof, she saw me on the other side the "fence" of that porch. She opened the sliding door and called me. And guess where I headed? Toward her voice? No, I can't get to her through the fence. I headed toward the front door! This also proves that I am a little smarter than Cookie! Once, so mistress says, several years ago Cookie had gotten out like I did today. When mistress called her, she headed toward mistress's voice. And, of course, she couldn't jump the fence so she just stood there whining and trying to figure out how to get to mistress. She never even thought of trying the front door! Well, don't get me wrong, Cookie is really smart, just not as much a me. :D Anywoof, mistress had to go to the front door and call Cookie to get her to come in.
