Summer With a New Sister

New addition to our family - Piper, the Greyhound! She joined our family a few months ago. A friend of ours was feeding her as a nearly starved and freezing stray with tons wrong with her.

Our doctor-friend got her fixed up and now her bones aren't sticking out anymore, and her coat's all pretty and shiny! She's not feeling funny in her tummy and stuff anymore, either. No one ever claimed her so she's part of our family now!

She also doesn't go nuts around food all the time anymore! She's even learned some manners! I helped teach her that she has to sit and wait her turn for treat time. She's funny, cuz her paws slide on the tile floor when she's sitting. I can bow and "high-nose", though, and she can't do that!!

She's kind of obnoxious as a puppy. She chews on Jordan's leg like a chicken leg when she wants him to play, but he just bares his teeth at her. He's too old to play with her. I know how she likes to play, because I'm a long-nose too!

Anyway, Mom's going to put some pictures up of her when she has time so my friends here can see what I have to put up with!
