Likes: I like to talk, chase squirrels, swim in scuzzy ponds (they make me smell good!), lay on the porch in my bed, lick food off of babies faces and roll in the snow in winter
Pet-Peeves: Shedding (I don't like it cause mom brushes me), vacuum cleaners, Marley stepping on me while I am sleeping, & mom bringing home other dogs...what's up with that?
Favorite Toy: my blue squeaky lion & curious george * I have no more toys...Marley killed them all* may blue lion & curious george rest in peace
Favorite Food: Diet? What diet? I love shrimp and rice cakes, well, not really the rice cakes, but I eat them because I have no choice. My dry food is Solid Gold Holistique Blendz.
Favorite Walk: We live in the mountains, so there are lots of great walks/hikes and when we go to the Beach to go surfing, I like chasing all the birds and crabs!!!
Best Tricks: playing dead :)
Arrival Story: I went to live with my mom when I was 6 weeks old, there was snow on the ground and a tree in the house with all these pretty boxes underneath which I liked to unwrap. Mom says I was a terror as a puppy, but I've turned out pretty good. She says I'm her best friend :) My dad married my mom 06-02-07 and I got to be in the wedding....that was pretty cool cause everyone at the reception fed me!
Bio: I was diagnosed with the early stages of arthritis in my stifles in April of '07. So since then my pawrents try to keep me on a diet. That's hard because I am a really good beggar.
2007 was pretty special because my mom & dad got each other a puppy for me on their birthdays! At first I was pretty annoyed with them because I have been an only dog for about 7 years......but now I enjoy having my brother around. When I get bored all I have to do is bark at him and he will play. It is also my official duty to steal every bone or chewie from him. Don't you dare feel sorry for him....he has de-stuffed all of my favorite toys! Some of those I had for months before the little monster came along! How dare he.....

Hoochie and Raley are two Siberian pals of mine who were brutally gunned down in Florida, shot 6 times at point blank range right in front of their owner, who was begging for the shooter to stop. Through the grace of God they are alive and on the mend, but could sure use some pals right about now.
You see, the police are stalling by not filing charges against the shooter, hoping the outrage will die down and then they can let it all just fade away. We need people to maintain pressure on the State Prosecutor so that will NOT happen.
Please consider signing the on line petition that has been started, in order to bring charges against this monster.
Also feel free to visit Hoochie's and Raley's MySpace page for frequent updates on their condition.
And finally, here is a page from the ASPCA's
on line community, with the names and addresses of people you can write to, to INSIST that justice is served.
That link also includes a link to a You Tube video, showing the shooting. Thankfully there was a tourist filming the whole thing. Beware - not for the faint of heart.
