Mom's Learned How to Bark!

Mom's been barking a lot lately, which fur a human is not a good thing. She sounds rather rattley and gurgly and has been using up a lot of tissues, which is really cool, specially if I could get my paws on them - yummy, gummy treats! She puts the trash cans up really high now though. Sigh.

She is also taking extra naps, which I don't mind in the least. Actually, I don't think this is normal and good behavior for a human. I hope she don hafta go to the vet. If she does, at least maybe she can get some pills and take them with peanut butter. That wouldn't be all bad. I could even help wif that part. I'm good like that.

My mommy's been doing the same thing! Why do you suppose they put those tissues out of our reach? They don't even shred them right!

The only good thing about the humans barking like that is the used kleenex, and they try to keep them away from us--stupid humans!LOL

Nurse Pennie prescribes Compression Therapy: you must lay as close as possible to your Mom, ON her is best. The warmth of your body will aid her circulation, while the naturally humidified healing vapors that you emit from both ends of your body will aid her breathing and help clear her lungs and nasal passages. If your Mother resists Compression Therapy, then you must lay on her more forcefully.

Buddy, sounds like you and Lexie are doing a pawtastic job as nursing Momma. She really should leave the tissues down for you, if that's your thing. As a REWARD! So far, I haven't found paper, tissues or regular trash anything I'm interested in...

If, I can dig cat food cans out of the cattle room garbage...
I'm right on them, ASAP! I think Spring is just around the corner! Why do human like to catch a buggie around springtime? Snow is melting here, it was 50 today......
Yippy! kisses and hugs, Happy Patty's Day,mazy

And why aren't us dogs allowed to eat the used tissues? I for one am just trying to do my Nurse Pennie job and keep the germs from passing on to the rest of the family! By ingesting the infected tissues, the germs pass through my powerful digestive system and are safely disinfected and passed out into the back yard where the tissues can be safely picked up and discarded in the regular trash.

50 degrees Mazy! Wow. We are covered in snow, but they say it will go 'way fast. I'm glad. I miss my mud. BOL!

Pennie, you are 'mazin'ly smart. I gotta go an tell this to Mom. This may be the very info I have been lookin' for to make my case for wet tissue akcess!
