Whata "Wonderful" Weekend!!

This past weekend i went camping wif my humans and roscoe. we went to a state park in southern indiana with a group from our church and were planing on staying thrus - monday morning.

we gots there and found out the person incharge of cowardnateing this event put us in a "full sun" spot (meaning NO shade!!) it was just mom, grandpa, roscoe and me then (gma and aunty were comeing down later) mom and gpa pulled out the auning that would give us shade and found it to be riped!! after a couple hours gpa was able to fix it by sewing it and duct tape. then we tryed to turn the AC on in the camper and found that to be broken!! it was probly 95F outside and we was boiling! me and roscoe aint used to that kind of heat! so we baked for a while but then decided to take a ride int he truck wich has working air conditioning, atleast until it cooled off a bit.

the next morning (friday) a person from our church who was in teh camping group got up on the trailer to see if he could fix the airconditioning for us. well he found out that a piece of fome was stuck in the fan and all he had to do was pull it out and it started working!! we were pretty happy to get that working.

around noon friday it was getting really windy. gpa checked the radar on his laptop and found out that a monster storm was hedding our way but he wasnt really worried, he'd been through alot of storms. well about 5pm the sky started getting really dark, mom put me and roscoe in the trailer. then all of a sudden this huge gust of wind and rain came like a freight train. every thing started blowing all over the place. a neighboring camper had a tent over his picnic table and that was tossed in the air!! i started crying for mom to come inside but she was too busy putting everything in the camper and gpa was holding the auning down so it wouldnt blow away. many other camper's aunings were blowing off the trailers. trees were nearly bent in half people were running everywhere it was really scarry!!!

then after a while it started to calm down. mom found a heavy duty clip to keep the tear on the auning closed and gpa and mom were finaly able to come inside. the power was out though so we had to sit in the dark for a while. and we couldnt use our newly fixed AC. :(. it stormed all night.

the next morning we found out that several trees had fallen over and one fell on a camper, luckily the people wernt inside. there was tons of flooding and damage. the camp ground decided to close until they got power back so we decided to leave.

we left just in time. i dont know if you've seen on the news or something but there are devastateing floods all over indiana and there all located around the area we was staying!!

we gets home to NW indiana and we gots some rain but not a whole lot. since gma and aunty didnt get to "go camping" we decided to spend the rest of the weekend at a closer state park in NE indiana.

it was nice and relaxing there, we were able to get a spot with shade and it was sunny and NO STORMS!!!!!

well until sunday that is.....
sunday me and roscoe were in the camper cooling off and mom and gpa were outside under teh auning. gpa looked up at the sky and saw a monster black cloud hedding our way! mom and gpa started getting everything inside when all of a sudden a siren started blareing really loud! the wind started blowing bad but luckily there was not damage. the wind only lasted about 15 min and wasnt terrible. it did rain for a couple hours though.

after it stoped though we were able to go to the beach and they had a doggy beach just for me and roscoe. roscoe loves water and was able to convince me into the water, it was pretty neat.

well we got back this morning from our "wonderful" weekend. and boy am i glad to be home!!

stupid neighbor dog

i was outside in the front yard spending alone time wif mom today. i was over on our border sniffing where the neighbor dogs pee and mom dont like me being so close to our boarder so she called me. she did a short wistle then said "blue here" and i trotted to her like a good dog but the wistle called the neighbor dog(the guy all the way behind us). this dog has cornered mom, gma and gpa and it has bitten gpa bfore. we were good friends with the neighbor and our sump pump is kinda in his yard so we dont do a whole lot about it except talk to him. there isnt anything we can do anyway, if we call animal control the dog will be gone bfore we get there:/

so the dog ran right up to me and mom quick yelld "no" in the bigest scariest voice she could. i stoped and the dog darted back, suprisingly afraid of her, lol. she yelled for me to get inside so i went the dog was extremely unperdictable and mom yelled at it to "geet on home" and the dog just stood there looking at her. we both got inside saftly but mom was shaken. she doesnt know what might have happened if the dog hadnt been afriad of mom, or if mom would have just froze.

wierdest day ever

alrite this happened a little while ago. me my mom jojo my aunt sue and grandma and grandpa were all driving in the car. it was the longest drive ever! then all of a suden the car started makeing wied noises. then we stoped at the side of the road. grandpa semed really mad. we sat there on the side of the road for and 1 1/2 when my great gpa showed up put the car on a flat bed and we all jumped in his truck and he took us home!

the next day we left agian and this time we went to this place called turkey run state park. we went on lots of trails that were really cool. one we had to climb up a waterfall! then we went adn got ice cream, I GOT A BRAIN FREEZE!

but that was the wierdest 2 days ever1
