Arrival Story:
Snowball used to live with the family of a man that worked for our mommy. One day, the man came to mommy and told her that he was getting divoriced, and that even though he had bought Snowball for the kids, his soon to be ex-wife didn't want her. He was silly enough to have rented a place that didn't take dogs, and wanted to know if Snowball could stay with our Mommy "until things settled down". They never did, and one day almost 2 years later, the man came to visit Snowball. She remembered him (we could tell, because she didn't bark at him!) -- but definitely gave him the cold shoulder! He said that she could stay with her new family forever, because it was obvious that she was happy here!
She is a strange girl....she's never really joined our "pack", instead remains aloof and detatched, she's never really played, and even though she's been with us almost 7 years, she is just now starting to ask for attention. (We've always worked with her to give her attention, but its been somewhat on her terms.. she likes it that way!)
Bio:
We used to say that Snowball spoke French, while the rest of our family speaks English! Communicating with her has been a challenge for us, as well as our doggie-kids -- after 7 years, she still has a strong dialect, but seems to have mastered the important phrases!
