Ahem...
My fellow snoopians, I am running for Queen of the SDB. Before I begin I would like to acknowledge my other snoop opponents and the great job they are doing on their campaigning and that I would be proud to have any of them as our Queen or King.

I know that I have not been a snoop as long as some of the other candidates but I believe that I can be a wonderful Queen and make the SDB an even more amazing place than it already is!

First of all, I would like to uphold the ongoing tradition started by our wonderful Queens Celeste and Trudy, and that is the "No Snoops Left Behind Initiative". For those of you who may not be familiar with this it goes as follows:

1. All new Snoops will be welcomed to Snoops by the King and/ or Queen with personal paw mails and/or Rosettes.

2. Each of the active Snoops will be asked to paw mail 5 other snoops to invite/advise and encourage new Snoops to attend Pawties and other special events.

3. Knowing that New Snoops may be inhibited by lengthy threads and ongoing discussions, we will initiate threads that any pup can jump right on. Including, but not limited to, Questions of the week, surveys and other fun stuff.

4. Theme days, where Snoops can all post photos with a common thread, such as, but not limited to "baseball hat photo day", or "tail photo day", or "sleeping photo day", etc.

5. Encourage new Snoop Moms and/or Dads to get on the contact list.

6. Sniff the bushes for more Snoops from the Midwest, West Coast and Internationally, to enable 24/7 Snoop participation. Snoops with insomnia can always find someone to play with no matter what time they sign on.

I strongly believe in this initiative because it lets new snoops realize that the SDB is a wonderful place that really cares about its members! When I received my Rosette and welcome from King Jack and Queen Celeste when I first joined it made me feel like I was already a special snoop and that made me want to join in the fun even more! The "No Snoops Left Behind Initiative" really helps snoops fit in right away and start making new friends!

Secondly, I promise to always abide by the Beagley Bill of Rights! I believe in snoop equality, honesty, and respect. No snoop should ever feel unwanted or bad about themselves because of something they read or heard about them or any other snoop!

Third, most pups know that I am a very engaged snoop. I try to post in forums at least once a day! I made new friends the first day I joined snoops and hope to make many more! I want to make new snoops feel welcome and know that they always have somepup to come to. If I am elected queen I would like to start a new tradition that goes along with the "No Snoops Left Behind Initiative". Every time a new snoop comes to the SDB not only will I greet them but I will p-mail them and ask them if they would be ok with me making a thread for them to welcome and introduce them! I would try to do this as soon as I knew they joined!

Also, I would like everypup to know that I will try my hardest to help put a stop to animal cruelty! I believe every animal, snoop or no snoop, should be treated with respect and love! Know one should ever be allowed to harm an animal and all animals should have warm, loving, and caring homes! I strongly believe in the Snoops Wags to Riches fund! The bottom line is if you don’t know how to love an animal then don’t get one!!!!!

Another thing I was thinking ‘bout was maybe to try a Snoop bulletin board....???...I was thinking that it could be a thread and we all can post events (along with other event threads), remind everypup about birthdays, and special days coming up! I know that we can do that in the group messaging and all but I know that I don’t always see that so a bulletin board forum could help let pups know what all is going on in snoops!

Next, I promise to make snoops a fun and activity filled place! I have many wonderful and fun ideas for parties, dances, balls, contests, and events! Each week I would try to post a question or game that might bring snoops together! Also I thought that we could have some fun picture contests....but of course necked picts not animated ones....I thought maybe have a funny one, a running one...ect. We could all vote on the best and the winner would get a special gift for the king and queen! I am always open for suggestions about anything! Which leads me into my last topic...

If any snoop has questions, concerns, or ideas you can always come to me no matter what! I will always be open for anything you want to talk about! I will try my hardest to always be online everyday and answer your p-mails as soon as beagley possible! Also if you would like your questions, concerns, or ideas to be confidential then I will be sure to keep them that way!

I really hope to be a wonderful, openhearted, and respectful Queen if you so choose to elect me! I have a lot of respect for snoops and my other opponents and I wish them all luck as well! So just remember DREAM, BELIEVE, TRUST in Bailey Star to be an amazing snoop queen!

The Beagley Bill of Rights

BEAGLEY BILL OF RIGHTS

Amendment I
Owners shall make no law abridging the freedom to bark, bay, or howl anywhere, anytime, and for any reason, real or imagined; or growl if moved or awakened from any chosen spot. Squirting with hoses, water pistols, screaming, or physical intervention is strictly prohibited. When Beagles bark, humans must listen until they understand and then perform accordingly.
Amendment II
The right to claim any spot on the bed first, not having to move for humans or siblings; covers and pillows will remain untouched until we vacate said spot. Good sun spots must be made available throughout every house and curtains that block access are open season.
Amendment III
The unlimited right to enter and exit the back door with human assistance, performed with no grumbling under the breath.
Amendment IV
The right to at least one walk per day anywhere, anytime we want, including mud, water hazards, garbage dumps, rolling on dead animals, insects or any other unidentified smelly goo; with no censorship of items or creatures procured to eat. No muzzles, masks, or other contraptions will be applied to abridge desire to forage. Sniffing will have no limits as to time or object. Yanking or pulling on the leash is prohibited, as is screaming or physical intervention.
Amendment V
Eating anything is an inalienable right and humans shall make no rules regarding; the cat box, sibling’s treats or dinners, garbage can exploration, or countertop sweeping. All packages must be inspected upon entrance to the house. An adequate space either at or directly under the table must be provided at meal times. Any food dropped on the floor must be pointed to and is immediately property of the Beagle eliminating any five second rule of humans, and if said Beagle is absent the item must remain untouched until his arrival whether from the next room or outside. No Beagle is responsible for clean up of any residual dog spit. Treats will be distributed upon human departure and arrival. Vegetables from the garden whether on the plant or in a container, especially green beans, are property of the Beagle. Obesity or its description will be eliminated from any handbooks, manuals, leaflets, or other propaganda upon entering the house and the Beagle will determine what weight is proper for their frame.
Amendment VI
Beagles will be secure in their possessions against any search either by humans or siblings. No seizure of Beagle property is allowed and in the event of exchange for another item of higher value, both items become property of the Beagle. In counterpoint, Beagles have the right to search and seize at his whim; any pocket, purse, bag, toy box, dishwasher door, countertop, or child.
Amendment VII
Chewing feet, scratching ears, rolling on the back and biting of genitals will be permitted and the only resolution will be rubbing of the belly by the human.
Amendment VIII
Under no circumstances shall any Beagle or canine brother be used for human medical experiment. If caught, humans will undergo said experiment every day for the rest of their lives.
Amendment IX
Unusual human behavior, such as harmonica playing, phone talking, lawn mowing, leaf raking, bed-thrashing, etc. will be met with unlimited barking until said activity ceases.

No Beagle will be left behind!

I am in love!!!

I love Shadow!!!! He is the best boy beagle and snoop could ever have!!!!!! I am in LOVE!!!! Love ya my dear darling Shadowkins!!!! XOXOXO!

The Lake!

Today I got to go to the lake in the mountains!!! It was soooo much fun! We climed on rocks and waded in the water and I almost caught a duck!! We don't get to go there very often but I love it!! But it takes a hour and a half to get there and that is a long ride for me!! I am soooo wiped out now! I am off to doggy dream land!! Sweet puppy dreams!!!!!!

Camping!

Last night my family and I put up a tent in our backyard! We brought out blankets, pillows, games, and the air mattresses!!! I love to camp, even if it is in our backyard! When we got outside in the tent it started to poor down rain and it was scarey but fun. Then we brought out my sister Kitty! She loves to look outside so we brought a stool out for her to sit on and look out the window! It is sooo much fun to run and play in our tent, I would run as a fast as I can and jump on the air mattress and then roll around! The sleeping bags we brought out were really warm and after I played I went under and fell asleep on my mommy's pillow!! BOL! I really love to camp with my family and I want to do it again tonight...who knows, maybe we will!

A Fun Ride!

Today my mommy took me for a ride to the park! I ususaly hate riding in the car but this time I loved it!!! I am soooo proud of myself!!! Well I gots to go! TTFN! LUV YA!!!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Today was not the best day to do my usual "puppy run" in the back yard. Every afternoon I always play and run with my human sister but today the sky was dark and rumbly!! I was sooo sad because it kept raining and I hate the rain. Evertime it would stop and I would run outside it would start to rain again! It made me so mad. But my sister and i ran and played inside, but still it wasn't as much fun as playing outside. I hope tomorrow will bring sunshine and no rain clouds! Sweet Puppy Dreams! Good Night!

A Suprise Visit to the Park!

Today my mommy and big human sister took me to the park over by my house! We had to drive over there though because there is big scary machines by the trail that we usualy take and they were ripping up the sidewalk!!!! I was soooo scared! But my sissy hugged me and told me it was ok.

When we got to the park my sister took me for a run across the BIG field! It was so much fun, but now I am oh so tired! We also saw a big black lab there but it was not very friendly so we stayed away from it. I love to slide down the slides on the playground and roll in the sand! The big long tube slide is my favorite! I love my mommy and sissy for taking me to the park, but now I am going to take a nap on my blanky! Sweet Puppy Dreams!
