Today is a good day.

I got chicken and rice for dinner. Mom said it was for little brother, but he didn't want it so I ate it. She yelled at me and gave him some more. He ate that bowl, so maybe he was hungry. It's really good to be home - I can finally sleep now that my whole family is here.

When little brother was at the hospital, I laid on the bed with Mom & Dad, but I didn't sleep very well. I paced. Wednesday night and last night, I laid on the floor next to the bed and Little Brother slept with Mom & Dad. I think Mommy actually slept last night; all the other nights she kept waking up crying. (She was telling Daddy that she kept seeing "it", but Little Brother turned into a little kid. Why would little brother turn into a little kid?) She didn't cry last night, so that has to be good, right?

Oh, I had the most fun ever on Tuesday night. I got to stay at Puggles and Benji's house. I met cats for the first time (I don't think they liked me much, but I thought they were okay) and had all kinds of new doggie treats, and we went to the park early Wednesday morning, and Puggles and Benji let me be part of their pack. I hope I get to go on vacation again - or maybe someone will come on vacation to our house. That would be a lot of fun!

Well, I hope I get to play with all of you at the park soon. I think it will be just me, though. Dad doesn't seem to want Little Brother to play. I don't know why - maybe it's that thing on his head. I think it's funny looking, but it scared Benji when they came to pick me up. Maybe it's not a good thing to play with?
