Pet-Peeves: She hates getting her face cleaned & her toenails clipped
Favorite Toy: Scruffi loves to play with what we call "The Lizard Box". See her video. Scruffi thinks that there is a lizard in the box, but there isnt. She'll push it, knock it over & bark at it for hours.

Favorite Walk: We live on a dead-end street, that's where we walk
Best Tricks: When you ask her if she wants something, she'll bark for YES or walk away for NO
Arrival Story: My 2 children & I had been visiting the pound every weekend in search of a small lovable dog. One saturday we got there a little early, before they were open, so we were waiting patiently outside. As we waited a lady and "Scruffi" pulled up and also just waited outside. My youngest daughter loves all animals and wanted to go pet the dog, I allowed. She started hollering for me to come over there. The lady in the car said that she was there to give the dog up for adoption. I convinced her that if we could "skip the middle man" my children & I would be thrilled to take Scruffi home with us. She explained that Scruffi is purebred & hadn't been spayed, but was wonderful with kids, was housebroken & crate trained. I have to admit BOTH my children and I were so excited that we said our thank you's and drove away without asking for Scruffi's papers or shot record, etc. The purebred papers are not really a concern for us - we found out from our vet that Scruffi is at the end of her breeding years... Being a very important member of our little family is much more important to us than worrying about her papers. As for her lack of shot record, when I took her to the vet she said that there would be no harm in redoing all her shots - as a precaution - so that's what we did.
