Birthday: April 10th 2001 Likes: being naughty Favorite Toy: squeaky hedgehog Favorite Food: peanut butter squirrel cookies Arrival Story: We adopted Peaches from a rescue. She had mange and her fur was very crispy, like she had been varnished. After a few months of care, love and a good diet, she is a happy, healthy, fluffy girl. Bio: I love to nibble fingers, they are delicious snax. I also like to nibble shoes, but only when they're on my human's feet. I don't quite know the difference between socks and shoes though, except that when the foot is covered with a sock and I bite it mommy shrieks more. The Groups I'm In: A Chihuahua Is L♥ve, AYE Chihuahua!! :o), CHIHUAHUA HEART TO HEART, Cute Chis, northern california chihuahua's!!!
Today was a great Chirstmas! I got two new harnesses, one is pink with white fluff around the collar (for extra comfort) and the other is blue with flowers.
I also got a couple of fleece blankets, a new rope chew toy, a squeaky toy shaped like a birthday cake, and some treats. I followed up by nibbling on the branches of the Christmas tree.
Today we had a super big dinner, something mommy calls "Thanksgiving".
I was thankful that I got rescued a year ago and that I now live in a big house with lots of treats on the table.
I learned a new trick, too! I learned that by jumping on the dining room chair, it's only a short jump to the tabletop! I put my plan into action today, and soon found myself face down in a bowl of stuffing.
Mommy and daddy were not impressed by my feat, however, as they promptly picked me up, placed me on the floor in the kitchen, and stood around me and informed me that I was a "bad girl".
I displayed the appropriate submissive stance in order the please them, but as soon as their backs are turned, I'm going back for the turkey!
I was sleeping in the sun when mommy came to pick us up. There was quite a fiasco because Patches chewed up a big patch of our sitter's carpet (maybe that's why they call him Patches? Ha ha. I'm a funny dog). I really liked staying here, though, so much better than any old kennel!
