Arrival Story:
I found my sweet Callie at a Homeward Bound rescue event in 1995. She was just put in a small pen with 3 big dogs and was very frightened. I scooped her out of there and that was that, she stole my heart. She was 8 months old and had already had several homes that didn't work out for unknown reasons. I took her home and she had severe separation anxiety because of her background. The rest is history - we became inseparable, she was my little shadow. We adopted Raffles a year later and Callie wasn't thrilled but grew to love him. Callie and I had a good run of 13 years. She was the world to me. Sadly she developed an illness she couldn't survive and I lost my best girl on August 18, 2008. She is now at the Rainbow Bridge with her brother Raffles. They are now back together again which stills my heart, and allows me to go on.

Callie was an exceptional love. She craved my touch 24/7. She would come up behind me in the bathroom as I was brushing my teeth and scoot in between my legs looking for another rub. She always slept on the foot of my bed and anywhere I went, there she was. I will never forget her.

Dogster, you've made Mommy sing again. She was so depressed when she heard the community pages were shutting down. We just heard the news that all hope is not lost, and she is smiling again.

Dogster helped Mom through four of us going to the Bridge and I truly don't think she would have survived without all the support and compassion she received from the Dogster community.

We are so happy. Thank you.

Oh my, just found out my face is the community page today. I love when this happens. Now Raffles has to do all chores today. My agenda included baking cookies. The girls in the kitchen are going to be beside themselves when they see my stout little brother in an apron.

Ariana, get that camera ready.

No worries, I will do all of Raffles chores. Oh wait a minute he really doesn't to anything so yours truly will have a very relaxing day.

Big fun.

Cake and Baloons - does life get any better than this

Wow - thanks everyone for the cake and balloons. It was too late too reciprocate to everyone so we just wanted to thank you.

Mom, and the Bostonians are being very brave enduring a pretty brutal winter this year. I bet Quigley and Priscilla wish they had longer hair like Maleka and I. We will try to send some sunshine your way.

Quig and Priscilla - thanks for taking such good care of Mom.
