Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
I just let ma read all of the comments on Candy. And Ma said she was going to show them to pop when he comes home tonight. (he's working YEAH) ( that's what ma said)

Ma & pop know that we are dawgs, and in a way they never want to take that away. Candy is 7 yrs old, and still very frisky. Dang Heck Almightly she is my best play mate. Ma is now watching us and Goliath has to be more polite to her. (He just mows her down.) What me? I just wait until she lies down and then...
"KIRBY" enough
oh ma doesn't want to me to tell all of you that I...
"KIRBY"
lick her ear.
Please if any of you have any other ideas. We sure do want to hear them.

Doggone it all WE LOVE YOU GUYS & DOLLS

Hey Kirby! Long time no read! It's because we moved, so things have been a bit crazy. Anyway, about Candy, turns out I have hip dysplasia too, and a mean case of lumbar instability. Surgery was a possibility but the doctor advised against it. Recovering from surgery is harder and slower for older dogs, so you definitely need to consider that. In the end mom & dad had me on a reduced exercise regime and basically, resting is what did the trick for me. So no more going for long runs, but I guess that comes with age. They also tried acupuncture, which helped relieve the pain, and some glucosamine, which helps protect worn joints.

So you might want to try having Candy do a bit less strenous, long exercise. Also, losing weight might help, says the doctor.

Let us know how it goes! Greetings!
