Puppy updateFebruary 15th 2009 4:59 am[ Leave A Comment ] Wilson's puppies arrived on Jan. 14th. He had FIVE daughters! We will be bringing home our new girl in early March. Since she is a full blooded Arkansan we have decided to call her Miss Winnie Woo Piggy. A Razorback by birth but I will teach her to aahroo Illini too!
Woo hoo it's my birthday!January 15th 2009 1:32 am[ Leave A Comment ] Two years old at last! Plus I am a Dad! Mom promised to make me a cake and I saw a big bag from petsmart hidden in the closet!!!!!! I'm going to invite Elvis, Pedro, MJ and Buddy over to watch me play with my new toys!
I'm a Father!January 15th 2009 1:26 am[ Leave A Comment ] Yesterday Sugar gave birthday to three pups. It was her 1st litter and she is doing fine. Sugar's Mom was a big help and called to let us know immediately! She said they ALL look like me!
I'm going to be a Dad!January 1st 2009 9:17 am[ Leave A Comment ] Big news this New Year. On or around my 2nd birthday I will become a Dad! I know, I'm a little young for so much responsibility but Mom promised to help. She said I get first pick. I definitely want a girl and of course I am partial to tri-colors. What do you think we should call her? Be sure to check back with us in late February to see the new addition to our family. Happy New Year all!
10 Days!June 12th 2008 11:10 am[ Leave A Comment ] Ten whole days with no one to scratch my belly. Ten whole days with no one to rub my ears! Why, ... you ask; because they wanted to see a Moose! I am way cuter than a MOOSE!!! or a killer whale, black bear, sea otter or any other creature that lives in Alaska. How could they leave me for 10 whole days! That Mom, she's a tricky one. I thought I was going to my agility school. The dog bed and surplus food should have tipped me off but who knew she would leave me there for 10 whole days! It's a great place to be, don't get me wrong but 10 whole days...come on. The other dogs were fun to play with but they can't rub my belly! Since my return I have stayed in the ready position. She never walks by without at least a little belly rub. I'm so glad she's home. I think she missed me too.
School DaysFebruary 12th 2008 6:57 pm[ Leave A Comment ] Since I’m no longer a “puppy”, Mom has started taking me to agility training. I heard her tell Dad I have ADD. She’s the one who keeps me from focusing! If it weren’t for her bugging me to walk up this, run thru that or jump on this I would be able to concentrate on all these amazing new smells out here. Besides, I heard the teacher tell Mom that I was doing great for a beginner!
Dog Bite It!February 12th 2008 6:32 pm[ Leave A Comment ] I just got to BARK OUT LOUD! You humans call it venting! I have this really nice Mom and all the dogs in the hood love to hang out at my place. At 1st I thought it was me they were coming to see but I’m beginning to have my doubts. When Mom takes me for my walks we usually end up with 2 – 5 more dogs tagging along. This is supposed to be my quality time. To make matters worse one of these guys has adopted my parents! Dad calls him Elvis because, you guessed it, he ain’t nothing but a hound dog. He is much bigger than me but I have made it perfectly clear that if he plans on hanging around here that I am the man! At least Mom won’t let him in the house. That would really gripe my fluffy butt!
Rose Bowl 2008December 31st 2007 3:38 pm[ Leave A Comment ]
Mom is pretty excited. It's been 24 years since her team has been to the "ROSE BOWL". The whole family is in the spirit of things. It was definitely an Illini Christmas around here. Aunt Vicki made me this pawsome Illini coat. I know how Underdog feels now. Speaking of under dog Mom's says we are definitely it! Which will make the winning all the sweeter. Keep your paws crossed!
Touch Down!November 20th 2007 8:31 am[ Leave A Comment ] Yup...that is my "Touch Down" pose! Most of you guys probably think that looks like "sit up" but around here it's "TOUCH DOWN!" I slap flat get wore out on Saturdays. Dad's team is No.1 in the nation and those Fighting Zooks are having a good year too. Plus my boys ( one of which who teases me with beer) are Bama & Razorback Alummi.
Big DayOctober 30th 2007 10:05 am[ Leave A Comment ] There are two men outside making a lot of noise! I keep barking at them but they won't go away! Mom says it's OK because they are making a fence for me! Now I will be able to go out without my leash and those big dogs in the hood won't be able to get me or lay on my patio furniture anymore! Oh happy day my tail is just a wagging...I think.
