The other day Mom and Dad both came home for lunch, usually its just Mom. I got to lick Dad's toes and he played with me a bit. Then I was VERY excited because Mom said that I was coming with on a truck ride with them. I was so excited to see where they go every week day. I know it's a place called work. I bet that there's lots of fun stuff to do there. I was a little confused and disappointed when Dad got out of the truck by this big blue building and I couldn't go with. Then we stopped by this house and we went inside. There was lady there who talking to me but I really just wanted my Mom to hold me. Then she did something so horrible, she left me there. All by myself with the strange lady. The lady did all these horrible things to me like giving me a bath, clipping my nails and cutting my hair. All I wanted to do was go home and play with Milo, but I didn't know if my mom was ever going to come back. Then after a looooong time she finally shows up. I sniffed her face and went to stand by the door. I was ready to go home. She gave the lady some money (I know what that is because I ate a $10 bill once and Mom wasn't impressed) and then she thanked the lady. For what? torturing me? Then finally we picked up Dad at the blue building again and headed home. I have to admit I felt pretty good after my haircut. I ran and ran till Mom got a hold of me. She said she wanted to snuggle with me because I was so soft and smelt good. Sheesh Mom, let me play.
