Likes:
Swimming, hiking, mountain biking - anything outdoors. Sometimes likes to mess with his little sister Ginger (4 months old GSD) and his big brother cat Pesto (2 years old "street" kitty)
Pet-Peeves:
Sometimes he has hard time to understand that my corrective commands ("no", "leave", etc.) are directed to Ginger and not him. Otherwise - perfect big big doggy (120 lb:-) )
Favorite Toy:
Frisbees - nobody is allowed to touch them except his parents:-) We play with at least 3 frisbees at a time. While he's catching one, I'm reaching for the next one to throw. It's a fast game, and tires us both out.
Favorite Food:
Steaks, hot dogs, buttermilk,bacon; well these are his fav snacks.
Favorite Walk:
Too many to list... Parks, mountains, lakes, etc. We usually hike out in the desert where nobody can find us. At the lake, he can swim for miles. To keep up with him, I swim with a monofin.
Best Tricks:
Trying to catch fish and birds while swimming ( sometimes he gets lucky; just sometimes though...:-) )
Arrival Story:
I had a GSD about 15 years ago and he was killed in the auto accident. Took me some time to get over it, but now we have two of them... Lucky us!
Bio:
We bought him from a breeder in Texas; he was quite cute and looked happy ( my doggy that is, although breeder was pretty ok too :-) ).
He was very easy to train and for over a year now we didn't have one problem with him. Not one. And he helps a lot with our new pup Ginger:
shows her around the yard, teaches not to mess with cat Pesto, plays with her in the baby pool and so much more. Best dog ever.
