Birthday: February 9th 2003 Likes: Merlin loves swimming and snow! He also really, really loves food! Going for walks is way up there on the list too, of course. And chasing things is fun. It doesn't really matter what, so long as it runs. Pet-Peeves: On his report card for doggy school the teacher marked 'does not play well with others'. So, he isn't all that fond of other dogs. He also gets irritated when his meals are late. To Merlin food is VERY important. Favorite Toy: Merlin loves his red Bad Cuz. He likes to make it shriek in the morning... often before his mother has had a chance to get her coffee. Favorite Food: How to choose? ...hmm... pizza, chicken, carrots... what he doesn't like would be a better question. He can't have anything with soy in it, however, as he is quite allergic. Favorite Walk: The beach. Merlin McFurlin loves the beach. Running in the woods is fun too and the field is alright- especially if there is something gross to roll in. Best Tricks: Merlin is really, really good at hide and go seek. He absolutely loves to play the game. Arrival Story: It took a year to talk my father into letting me get a dog. I was seventeen and working on homeschooling myself. I had seven cats and two birds, but I desperately wanted a dog. On Valentine's day of 2003 I went out to lunch with my dad at Pizza Hutt and I asked the dangerous question... and he didn't say 'no'. By the end of the day 'not no' turned into 'yes'. I searched the internet and made phone calls and found puppies from a Belgian breeder in Pennsylvania. We drove 11 hours there and 11 hours back to pick him up and it was worth it! Bio: Merlin is my very best friend. He protects me and is a wonderful guard dog. As tough as he can be sometimes, however, at others he is simply a clown. Murry has a soft spot for kids. He is particularly fond of Alex, a boy I babysat for and who still comes to visit once a week.
