My Day at Our Towns Barktoberfest!!

When I woke up dis morning, it was just like any other day...mommie got up...got dressed....fed us all....then said bye-bye and left de house...."oh well" I thought..."here goes another day wif mommie at work".....Den....before I knew it, mommie was back home again....and...she had my skin sister wif her, and the two grandsons...it is always such fun to see dem....dey luv me!! and I luv dem too.
Den....the next thing I know....mommie is getting out my Halloween dress, and getting my harness and leash....and getting Sophie's dress and her harness.....den....I just couldn't beweive it....mommie put our car harnesses on us and buckled us in my skin sisters van....and off we go! I was so excited...I just couldn't beweive it...we were going on a car ride! Hooweee! And wif our new car seat, we could see out de window! It was super cool!
Den as we drove down de road....I would see people and I would bark at dem...."hey...look at me, I am riding in a car!!".....dey didn't notice though...I don't know why....
Den dey stopped de car, and we got out and walked down de street....den.....OMD...You would NOT beweive what I saw.....Lots and lots and lots and lots of other dogs and there hoomoms & dads! Dey were eberywhere! big dogs and little dogs...and some of dem was berry berry berry big. Mommie called dem Great Danes! I just know dey were "GWEAT" Big dogs!!....Willy Gweat Big Dogs. there heads were bigger den my whole body! And...you will not beweive dis....but I put my nose, nose to nose wif dat big dog...it was so cool! Mommie didn't get a picture of it, doh....de skin sis had the camera....and she was busy chasing down her kids.......Kids...go figure!!
We walked around and saw all de other dogs and saw a lot of neat things for sell for dogs and cats....and...there were a lot of booths there for the Humane Society! Mommie bought things from there..two tshirts for herself....and some of de booths had treats for us, and free halloween Bandana's...it was willy cool.
We got dere too late to join any contest...the grandson had a soccer game that morning.....but mommie says she is sure I would hab won de kissing contest! They had a contest for best costume too....Wow... dere were some will cool costumes on some of the dogs....two of dem had been dyed pink...dere fur...not dere clothes...dere fur!..can you beweive it....my favorite color! dey were pretty cute! den dere was a big dog wif willy cool sunglasses on! and boots....he was cool!
Just me and Sophie got to go....and poor little Sophie was a little scared of all de people and dogs....so my skin sister had to hold her de whole time.....I have to admit....all dose people were a bit scary....and I decided to let mommie hold me too....but eberyone we saw told mommie we were sooooo cute!
Den we finally left to go home....and mommie put us down to make us walk....and, Sophie...well....she knew exactly where we were heading...and she high tailed it...and didn't stop for nuthin! she was soooooo happy to be back at de car.
When mommie buckled us back in our carseat...we didn't make a sound all de way home....we just layed in our seat wif our tongues hanging out......soooooo tired! We slept all de way home.....and den slept most all de time after we got home....whooweee...we were definately a couple of tired pups!
So it was a fun day...eben a bit scary....but fun none-the-less!!
Mommie said next year, when we go....she will have to buy us a stroller first....dat would make it all a bit easier.....and we hab to go in the early morning...not later....it is better when it is early!!
So...dat's my story about Barktoberfest in Pensacola....It was exciting...and it wore dis pup slap out!!

Mighty Andrew & De Elephant!!

Wow...did you all see my Andrew stand up to that big ole elephant last night??? Wasn't he pawsome???!!! I am so berry proud of him and his mommie...they did so pawsome! I wrote this poem for the Andrew thread on GAD and also wanted to put it on my page for all to read....I just love my Andrew...and am so glad so many of my pals do to!!

"My Andrew McDreamy"

Oh My...what a lucky girl I am. I had been seeing previews of de new show coming on.."Greatest American Dog", and was so excited when it finally came on tv. I told my mommie, ober and ober, dat I hab to watch this show...and boy oh boy am I glad I did. It was such a great show....I was watching every move by every dog...then...then...I couldn't beweave my wittle eyes...dere on the screen was the most handsomest little man I had eber seen. I tell you...it was love at first site. My wittle heart just went puter, putter.....love, love, love! I didn't take my eyes off the screen...just waiting for another glance!
I told my mommie she was gonna hab to help me write him a letter. and we did...and he wrote me back...and I wrote him back....and now...oh be still my wittle heart....he said I was his girlfriend! Isn't that pawsome!! The most handsome and "Greatest" dog in America...is my boyfriend! aaahhhhh...how sweet it is!
He gave me a picture of him to put on my page....he's the best!!
And now I can't wait til next week when I can see him on tv again. I told mommie to record ebery show so I can watch him ober and ober!
Yep, it's a fact...I am one lucky girl...and I hab my berry on McDreamy!!
I'm going to bed now, so I can sleep and dream of my man!

MY SUPRISE PAWTY!!

Oh me, oh my...I knew mu wofday was commin, and I just knew mommie was plannin a super suprise fur me....I heard her talkin about a surprise pawty for me...so I pretended I didn't hear her...but I knew that today was the day....and I was oh so ready for a suprise pawty!! I woke up dis morning and started kissing mommie on the face and she woke up and started singing to me..."it's de birfday girl...it's de birfday girl"......Then I knew for sure she remembered...and was pretty sure my pawty was just minutes away!!
Weeeeelllllll....mommie got up...took us outside...had her coffee....had more coffee... fed us....took us outside again....got the paper...looked at the paper....then.....then....oh my...I didn't know what was going on...she decided to trim de hair around my eyes...I was like..."mommie why are you doing dis now...we have a pawty to hab?"...she was not listening to me at all...the next ting I know, she has me at the kitchen sink...wif the water running!!....you know what dis means....yeppers....run screamin....it means "Bath Time"....!!!!! I tried to tell her dis was not the way I wanted to spend my wofday...but she wasn't listening to me at all...I am thinking about now, that mommie could use a good strong pair of "Hearing Aids"! I did NOT want a bath!!!!! Oh well...I was all wet now, so I figured, what the heck, I would let her go ahead...and it did actually feel good when she rubbed and scratched my body...uuummmmm!! Well...that was finally ober....and she took me into the back bedroom....I knew what was comin next...the blow dryer!! So...she starts brushing me and blow drying me...and it felt pretty good too ..(but don't tell mommie I said so...she tinks I hate it...lol), and just about when I tink it is all ober, and we can hab my (surprise) now...she pulls out the motorized sheers thingeys....and proceeds to trim up my hair....by the time she finished wif me, i was so tired...I needed a nap!! I was thinking, maybe I had heard her wrong...maybe we weren't habing a pawty after all!!
Just a minute later...Company!!! my skin sister and her boys and my cousin dogs all showed up.....and....guess what????>>>>We willy did hab a pawty! I was soooo happy!! I didn't know they were all comin to my pawty! We jumped and played and tried on the funny hats mommie gabe us...we played "chase mommie" 'cos she has the plates!! and den...I couldn't beweave my wittle eyes...mommie showed me de most bea-u-ti-ful cake in all the world! It had plastic fishes and tings on it!! and a great big number 2 candle right in de middle!! It was really cool! Mommie lit de candle and den helped me blow it out!...and she let me lik the frosting on de cake before she cut it for efurbody! Den she cut up pieces and we all ate cake on de floor!! It was so cool!! Mommie told me later that she had frosty paws ice cream for us too...but had forgot to pull it out....we love frosty paws ice cream!!!
Next was presants and boy did I get some super presants! I got a little toy purse, and toy phone/tug and a big pink octopus (what eber dat is)...it is willy cool and it squeeks and efurbody wanted to play wif it. Den mommie put my wofday spring dress on me and one on my sister Sophie, and she took tons more pictures....(daddy says she takes way too many pictures...but we don't tink so).....
Anywho...it has be a berry long and wonderful day....and my pawty did turn out to be a surprise after all! It was much more den I could hab eber dreamed of!! and mommie says I should say a special thanks to Lucky, 'cos his mommie sent my mommie the recipe for the "peanut butter carrot cake"...and it was DEEEEEEE-Licious!!...
uuummmmm...what a wonderful day it has been....I think I will sleep berry well tonight!! Kisses to efurone!!

I am ready for Spring!!

Boy...let me tell you...I am willy, willy weady for spring. and....when I say I am necked under my clothes...I willy am...mommy went a wittle cwazy wif the clippers and I have no more hair now!!...I am bald now...well...not willy bald...I still have plenty of hair...it's just short! It all started 'cos I got into something...one thing...den another...and WHAM! I have to have a hair cut. It's okay tho', it's not weal cold here anymore...just a little, and I do have these nice jammies that I get to wear...they keep me nice and warm, and they are my favorite things to wear...(don't tell mommy..she thinks those pretty and fance lacy dresses are my fave...but I just love my jammies best).
Anywho....I am ready for spring....ready to go play in the leaves...It was just the other day, I was outside helping daddy rake up all the leaves, and I was showing my widdle sister, Sophie, just the right way to help him. She thinks I am the all wise one, she follows me eberwhere, and does eberything I tell her to...it is sooooo much fun!
I hope eberpup likes my new pictures on here, my human sister took them. She is willy good wif a camera, don't ya think?!! I am berry glad mommie got around to putting new pics on my page, I didn't think she was eber gonna get to it....I was actually thinking about firing her....but I think she got wind of it, and decided to fix my page...complete wif a diary entry for me! she can be willy super sometimes...heeheehee. Mommy has been willy busy lately, and hasn't gotten on here as much as we would like to, it has just been grazy busy around here...and we miss eberpup...but we are at least now working on our pages....well, mine anyway....we'll see how long it takes her to do something new to Lil-e and Sophie's pages....ummmmm....
Well...that's all I have to say at the moment....that thing called "busy" is calling mom away again!!!!

My Terrific day of meeting my Pals!!

You will not bewieve the wonderful day I had. Mommie got me all dolled up, and put on my nice red sweater, and then we went for a ride in the car, and went to Daddy's store...and then....I couldn't bewieve it...I saw two little doggies like me coming in the store. You will never guess who it was.....It was Mighty Quincy and Ruby Tuesday!! They came to visit me. We got to play and play...and I was soooooo berry happy! They brought me and Lil-e Christmas stockings with goodies in them. And mommie and their mommie talked and talked.
I just have to say, me and mommie had a terrific time. It was so cool getting to meet two of my dogster pals!! and they are so very cute!! Ruby is so tiny and adorable, and just slept on mommies lap, and me and Quincy played ...what a looker he is..sooooo handsome!!! I tink I am in luv!!! I just wanted you all to know about my terrific day...Quincy and Ruby's mom is a berry smart lady...she brought her camera and took pictures....mommie didn't think of that!! She said the thought never crossed her mind! I won't tell you what I think of her mind..heehee! But that's okay 'cos Ruby and Quincy's mom took pictures...and the best part is we got to meet and have fun together....and mommie said we can do it again sometime!! Whoopee!! I am so happy!

MY VISIT WITH SANTA-PAWS!!!

It all started with a bit of confusion.....Friday night, mommie gave Lil-e a bath and trimmed her hair, her paws, made her beautiful (er) all over...then last night she did the same to me. We couldn't figure out why, she just kept saying she had a surprise for us. Then...this morning our friend Kizzy came over with her mommie, and we got in her mommie's big auto, and away we went. We got to this big parking lot and mommie started putting our pretty new dresses on us, and putting our pretty bows in our hair, and people were walking by and saying how pretty we looked....and then she told us...........we were going into the pet store to see SANTA-PAWS!! Can you beweave it!! I was just soooooo excited. Then we go into the store....and more people are looking at us and saying "how beautiful" we are...(of corse we already know we are beautiful...we have these beautiful dresses, after all)...Then this lady points to the back of the store, and mommie heads that way...and then....OMD...I could hardly beweave my wittle eyes....there he was...."SANTA-PAWS"!!! I must say...he is the most handsome man on the earth! I just love his white hair and those red clothes he wears!! He is just super pawsome!....All of a sudden, this man said "next"... and the next thing I knew, mommie was walking me and Lil-e over to see him! He heald us in his arms, and loved on us....and they took a picture, and then.....OMG!!! and then....he told me...out of his mouth came these special words...he said he knew me and Lil-e were good girls, and that we were getting everything we asked for for Christmas! Can you beweive it?? I am so berry happy!! Then he gave me a widdle hug and gave me back to mommie, and then he gave Lil-e a widdle hug....then hugged her again...(he's does Shih-Tzu rescue in his other life)...and Lil-e just loves him!! I willy bewieve he is the best Santa-paws ever!!
Then we walked around the store, well...mommie walked, I insisted on being carried, and Lil-e rode in the shopping cart, and Kizzy was in her mommie's arms, and we went around the store picking out more things to ask for for Christmas. Wow! They had sooooo much to choose from. It was just a super day...and now, I am most exasperated....and in dire need of a good night's sleep (Daddy is really hoping I sleep all night for once...heehee). So that was the the whole story of my visit with Santa-paws. and ....now I can't wait til Christmas to get all my new toys.....I wonder if me and Lil-e will get more than mommie's human grandsons???? mmmmm...I think we should!! After all...Santa-paws said we were good girls!!! (tho' for some reason, my daddy still doesn't bewieve that one)....
