Not just a looker, Clarence's activism knows no limits—enerpetically involved in the campaign to save Dogfur, Clarence is always looking for a worthy cause that he can sink his teeth into.

Boy is my mom in trouble!!

Can't believe she hasn't typed for me since Dec. 6th!!! Missed Christmas and everything!
We just had our 1st birthday Jan. 17th, my brother Dudley and I! It was a great day!!! To start it off, we got a little snowstorm, just enough to blitz in and keep mom home for the day with us!!! Then, We got new flavored Dently's chew bones! Yum! I chew for a while and then Dudley takes it sooo, I wait till he's got his good and gooey, then I distract him and take it when he's not looking. I don't chew on it, I just go bury it where he can't find it! heeheeheee
Then, we watched Mom make our pupcakes! They smelled soooo good! We couldn't wait to taste them. She gave us just a bit and then said we had to wait till Dad got home for the rest! Bummer!! They were well worth the wait though, and, I think I see more on the counter!! I bet we get some this weekend!!
We also got a great frisbee to play tug o war with and a new bandana each! Dudley, the little suck up, likes his! I, on the other hand, just hate it when they put anything on me! (collar, harness, coat, shirt, bandana, you name it) Naked is totally the way to go!!
We also got lots of great presents, special gifts and lots of birthday wishes from our pals on dogster!! It was a really, really great day!!
Can't wait until next year! Okay, I gotta go, Dudley's checking out where I buried his bone! Grrrrrrrrrrrr

I just don't understand it!

We keep hearing about Christmas and how this is our first one and how much fun it's gonna be........It's all a little wierd to me!
Mom got these tubs out and started getting all this wierd stuff out and putting it all over the house, then she got another tub out and started building this tree; Right In the Living Room!! I don't know why they want a tree in the living room, They put it right where my blanket used to be!
Then, she got out these twinkly things, put them around the tree along with this pretty gold string stuff! Now that looks like fun! And all these hangy things went all over it too! What in the world is going on?!?
Next she took all this good stuff and wrapped them in funny paper and put them under the tree! Now, how do they expect me to stay away from it?
I just keep hearing about how our big brother never messed with the tree and what a "perfect dog" he was! Yeah right!
Well, I just couldn't resist! I grabbed that gold stuff and took off running, right in front of mom, boy did she yell! I waited a couple days though so they thought I was gonna be good before I did it! After that, I didn't touch it again for a while. Then, just the other day, while mom was in the shower, I decided I wanted to see what was in this funny looking package. I scratched at the paper and then I made really pretty Bichon Snow out of it! Gee, I got in trouble for that too! My brother Dudley, he always runs off scared. He says he doesn't want to get blamed for my fun! One of these days, I'm gonna have to frame him!

1. I am a Chewer!! I don't just play with toys, I have to chew on them!

5. I love to pick on my brother Dudley. I'll keep on picking on him until he finally decides to play with me.

6. I love to do things I know I shouldn't. I try to get away with being naughty by giving those humans "my look" that should just melt their hearts. Works sometime, not all the time though.

our 6 month anniversary

We've been here 6 whole months already! Seems like forever and Mom says we have lots of forever to go! My brother Dudley and I are Bichon/Toy Poodle mixes and we are as different as night and day!

Our mom was a Bichon and our dad was an apricot Toy Poodle. Dudley looks and acts like our dad. He's totally poodle with just a bit of Bichon thrown in. I on the other hand, am totally Bichon! My hu-mom and hu-dad say they can't believe how totally different I am! I don't think I'm different at all!

I'm me and that's that. Just because I like to do my own thing and go crazy now and then, why is that a problem? Could it be that I like to eat paper, steal slippers, run in circles like I'm possessed? How is that different? I keep asking mom, isn't my playful side the whole reason you couldn't say no to me when you came to pick up Dudley? You wanted a little stinker and that's what you got!!

They love me, they just haven't gotten me figured out yet. Everytime they get close to figuring me out, I change! Hehehehe, I do that on purpose!!

Mom wants to know, is that a Bichon trait?
