Arrival Story:
Turtle was found on a farm when she was about 6 months old, totally unsocialized. She had to be caught in a trap to be brought to the shelter and was covered with cuts and scrapes. She spent a couple of days in her cage shaking and urinating whenever anyone touched her. I decided to take her home to foster her and work on socializing her, but she had to meet Juno first because we didn't know if her wounds had been caused by another dog. She bonded immediately to Juno and not long after to me...therefore becoming an official Foster Failure!

Bio:
Turtle can still be a little unsure of new people, so her love is hard earned...but once you get it, life is never the same! She's a happy, wiggly, cuddly pit bull. When she wants attention, she'll sit a few feet away from you and look at you out of the side of her eyes, giving a play growl and wagging her tail harder and harder until you call her over to you. At night, she comes over and puts her nose on my face for me to lift up the covers so she can get underneath and sleep on my legs. Love-a-Bull!
