Pippin had been doing so well since his op 1 year 2 months ago, now hes showing signs of another disc problem we are all very upset, hes lame at the moment caging himself very sad. Ive taken him back to our vet shes put him on antiinflammitry tablets and jab changed his food to hills jd diet for joint problems. No walks for a while carry him to do his bussiness then back to cage. Just hope it doesnt come to another disc going to go i hope he doesnt have to go through another big op like before. very costly to. Im very worried at the moment as hes been through so much and i hate to see my baby suffer, dogs have very sad eyes when unwell. The medication seems to be helping slowly but i think its going to take a hell of alot of cage rest before he recovers hopefully without and surgery this time.Hes only 5 years old and has been through so much. poodle shitzu is the worst cross for back problems so im told by the orthopaedic vet.My other dog seems to know hes not well and leaves him alone funny how they seem to know.Hope my baby recovers soon for his nice holiday to the new forest next month if not ill take the cage for him to still recover if not.
