Here are the rules:
Because it’s Thanksgiving time, there is a change to the rules.

Each player needs to tell seven special things they are
thankful for. Tagged dogs must post the rules in their diary
and their 7 things. Then choose 7 pups to tag and list their
names. Let them know by pawmail or rosette that they have been
tagged and to read your diary for the instructions on how to
play.

Seven Things I’m Thankful For:
1. That my mom drove to Texas to save me from being an ignored back yard puppy.
2. I'm thankful for the surgery mom had done on my knee so I can romp and play again.
3. I'm thankful for having known Greta who taught me the ropes and how to be a good pup!
4. I'm thankful for Blue, even if she can be a pain in the butt from time to time.
5. My raw food diet, I know it's the best for me!
6. I'm thankful for all my pup friends and that mom's friends all have pups.
7. For my big back yard because I do love to be outside, as long as I know I can come back in when I get too hot or cold (that doesn't happen much!!)

MMmmm new treat

Mom came home from the barn today with a new treat... trimmed horse hooves! Woohoo.. they were YUMMY! Can't wait for the farrier to come back next week. She kept meaning to do it before, but she actually remembered tonight. We made sure we showed our appreciation so she doesn't forget next time!

It was otherwise a nice day home. It was hot, but it felt good to be home. we were at the jersey shore for a few days, and I love visiting my grandpawrents, but nothing beats coming home after a few days to run free in my own fenced in yard. I had lots of rolling to do as I think the stray cats in the hood figured out the yard was open game for a few days.... there were some good smells out there today. But after a few rolls and a few barking sessions I had to keep coming back inside. Looking forward to the weekend... supposed to be gret weather. Mom is thinking of taking us hiking tomorrow... hopefully she can get off her lazy butt OR not get stuck in the garden too long... I try to help her out in the garden but she yells at me. I keep seeing her pull things out of the ground... but apparently she wants to keep some BOL.

Mommy's home :)

I love summer. Mom gets two months off and spends so much time with us. We get to spend the lazy days of summer hanging in the yard doing garden work and watching the birds. Mom found a great hiking trail she wants to take us too a little more often, and we get to go to the beach from time to time! She does these things while working too, but now we get to do it more often. I had knee surgery this past winter, but I am good to go again just in time for all these fun events.

We are going to the beach and Grandmom and Grandpops this week. We don't get to run around quite as much, but we do go for some great walks. They have a nice porch I like to hang out on too, they get great breezes there. We probably won't get to go on the big beach, but there is a bay beach much closer that we can go to at night. I like it just fine because there are less waves. Waves scare me. But there are so many new smells. I used to live 5 blocks from the beach so I miss this. It's all new to Blue. She went a few times last summer. She loves the water. mom just got a new 50 ft lead, so we should be able to roam and check things out a little better this time. I will try to get some nice pictures to share.

The only bummer of the trip is GP is a little allergic, so when we are the house we have to stay in the laundry room or hang on the porch (if it isn't too hot) but mom usually gets us nice and tired so we don't mind too much. At least we get to go!
