 Quick Bio:
Likes: Sleeping in, getting baths, sitting in the sunshine and looking for the kitty.

Pet-Peeves: Cold weather! Brrrrrr!

Favorite Food: Anything! I love to eat.

Best Tricks: Sitting up and begging for food!

Arrival Story: My dad rescued me from blindly wandering across a busy street about 2 years ago. After dodging traffic to get me, he took me home and quickly realized that I had been seriously neglected. He and my mom decided that my days of hardship were over, and I became a forever member of their large doggy family.

Bio: Although you would never know it by looking at me, I do have a few health issues due to the neglect I suffered before finding my forever home. I have kidney disease, not so good eyes, ears and teeth, and a few other ongoing issues. I get lots of medicine mixed with my special food, eyedrops and lots of baths. I am a touch high maintenance, but my folks are just honored to make my golden years comfortable. My my vets are amazed by my lust for life and my strong will to live. I am a very sturdy little girl! I am so happy to have finally found a home that treats me in the manner I deserve!
I adore my parents but I am pretty aloof to the rest of the world. There are a lot of other dogs around this house but they know that I am the queen bee!

Hi Everypup,
I have been tagged by my fellow Angel, Precious. Here are a few facts about me:
1. My one trick - sit up, beg and bark 'til the food comes!
2. I was the Queen of our house - outta my way, kids!
3. I loved to snuggle with my mom and in my comfy beds.
4. My dad saved me from certain death while I was wandering around in a busy street. He was the only car who stopped for me. Thank goodness! I loved my adopted family very much.
5. On December 10, 2007, I went back to the angels.
6. I keep a very close eye from Heaven on my family.
Mom can only do 6 because she is getting teary.
Here are several angels we would like to know better:

On December 10, 2007 we gave Choo Choo back to the angels. She was a brave little fighter but finally succumbed to her kidney disease. I am honored to have been her caregiver in her last years. In return she gave me her undying devotion and affection. I will always be grateful for my time with her. Ahhh, there is nothing like the love for a dog.

Hi Friends,
I just wanted to share with all of you why I am the luckiest girl in the world.
I have a comfortable, happy home with a family who adores me. My vets are the best around, and everybody at the clinic knows who I am! I always get lots of hugs and kisses from the staff. I have lots of sweaters and a heated bed to keep me warm. The food here is really good too - Mom is a great cook. I can't remember much about my life before I came here but I do have vague memories of scavaging for food around a greasy spoon diner and dodging cars.
My Dogster family is the best, too. I have so many caring pals and moms who have sent me sweet prayers and well wishes. Thank you everybody!
My recheck at the vet was Wednesday and the news was pretty good. My kidney values are still not normal but they have improved slightly. The best part is that I feel GREAT, and have a good appetite. Yay! We are taking this one day at a time, and today is a good day.
I hope all of you have a wonderful day with your families. Give them the sad eyes and maybe you will get a little more turkey!
Love,
Choo Choo
