Sometimes it's just not worth it to get out of bed! That's my day today! Mom & I got up this morning and I had breakfast and started playing around with her and I smacked into my water and food dishes and kibble and water went everywhere! Mom said "don't worry about it, I've had worse things in my life...just today" as she cleaned it all up.

That being done we go downstairs to do laundry and Mom sprayed water all over the laundry room and I was in the middle of the laundry room. She dried the laundry room and then got out her hairdryer and gave me a once over.

Mom went back up to update some Dogster stuff and I hurled in front of the door cause she couldn't get to me fast enough. She wiped my face up and then cleaned that mess up. She apologized for not getting there in time, but hey what are ya gonna do?

It was one thing of another all day, so I'm being very cautious with my evening!

Training

Mom & Dad are teaching me how to close the basement door! They already know how to close the door so now I guess I need to know too! They are hysterical to watch! I'm getting it but hey, I don't want to learn it too fast...their too much fun to watch!

Grama started teaching me to play dead a couple of years ago, but I wouldn't do it when Mom & Dad got home from vacation! Grama was frustrated with me...so much fun! Mom worked on it and I got it down good and she showed the grandkids! Now the whole time their here, they keep shooting me so I play dead, but I go and fall down on the carper, not the hard floor! I might have to play dead, but I'm goin out with comfort! BOL

Well, Mom's headed that way...it's about time Mom so I'll have to say "Good night my Dogster Pals!

Gratitude

Some times we forget how much the people around us have done for us and then there are times that it is almost overwhelming...a wave of gratitude comes over you and you just have to say "thank you."

There have been so many loving, kind and knowledgeable furs and humans that have helped my family! Some times it's just a kind word, an offer of prayer, even a tiny pat on the back can make such a difference in our day. We never know or maybe most of the time we don't even know that we've lightened someones load or made them laugh instead of cry.

Pam, you have held me up when I wanted to give up, you've taught me how to do the things that I could never have figured out on my own. You never gave up on me when I wanted to give up on myself. Thank you!

Mer, you've allowed me the privilege of being a part of PNP and have taught me how to be an administer, something I never thought I would or could have done on my own. You allow me to ask the stupid questions, sometimes multiple times without giving up on me! Thank You!

And then there are the countless furs & humans who are holding my family up with prayer and encouragement while we walk through this hard time with my Grama and all that is happening to her. I can't tell you how much you all mean to me, and yet I have never seen any of you face to face, but you've still been there for me and my family! Thank You!

All of you have given me an attitude of gratitude! I can only hope that as I walk through this life I will do for others what you have done for me!

THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE!

Goodnight my Dogster pals!

Doodle Hugs to you all!

Tired

Our family needs a break! We've been hit with one thing on top of another! Dad's knee is really hurting him, all the stress has made Mom hurt even more than usual and Grama is not out of the woods yet!

I'm taking good care of Mom & Dad,but I can't get to Grama, but she knows how much I love her and that makes her happy!

We have a raccoon that's been coming around and I don't like it! The ones around here are mean and aggressive, and their pee carries disease that humans can get. Leptospirosis is in some animals urine and can infect pets and they can give it to humans. We live in Washington and we didn't have to have the shots for years, but now cases are on the rise and we have to be vaccinated against it!

So our place is a NO RACCOON area! Mom has a ton of autoimmune diseases
and my vet Sarah is concerned about the whole leptospirosis thing. We are so lucky to have Sarah in our lives, she not only watches out for me but my whole family!

Well, Mom's gonna try to get some sleep so I gotta run!

Goodnight all my Dogster Pals!

It's late and Mom and Dad left at 4:00am to go to the hospital for Grama! Her surgery went well, found just what they expected! Thank You God! The took some lymph nodes and we'll find out in about a week if the cancer has spread. Surgery got done around 11:00 but she didn't get into her room until like 7:00pm...they didn't have a room until then!

Mom , Dad & I want to thanks your Furs and your human family for all the uplifting encouragement...all the prayers...you all are truly great! Thank you just doesn't seem like enough, but we are greatly blessed to have you all in our lives!

Good night all our Dogster pals!

Today is going to be a long day. It's the day my Grama gets her cancer surgery done. I'm with Mom no matter where she goes. First she tried to read, then she tried to sleep, now she is in the office with me here at her feet. Grama's surgery is early, they all have to be at the hospital by 5:00am. I wish I could go and comfort them and help them pass the time! So I'll wait here for them...I hope all goes well...please let things go well!

All Clean

Well I got my bath today. It's been a little longer than normal cause Dad usually does the bathing and Mom does all the grooming and hair trimming, nails and teeth. But Dad's knee is hurting real bad with a torn meniscus and he can't get down on his knees and Mom can't push on the side of the tubs cause of the arthritis in her ribs,so today Mom just stood in the tub with me or sat on the side. Dad helped do what he could and we all three looked like drowned rats! Then comes the going down to the family room to air dry. Mom put me on my grooming table and did a little grooming and trimming but most of that got put off until tomorrow! Boy do I smell good!!

Mom came up with a new contest/game that will begin on Monday and it could prove to be a lot of laughs! Hope it goes well. We start our 4th game of Bull's Eye on Monday too, furs seem to like that game pretty good. We've made some good friends on that game...some of the furs are hilarious! Gotta watch out for flying darts though or you could get an ear piercing that you weren't planning on, but it's still a lot of fun.

Tuesday Grama has her surgery. Mom & Dad will be gone to the hospital part of the day. I sure hope everything goes well. Daddy's Dad fell again and this time they had to put him in a nursing home to try and build up his strength, but he's acting real funny...well funny not in the laughing way. He's getting mean! Daddy's Mom is in the same nursing home with Alzheimer's. Getting old can really stink! Sometimes life is just so sad that you just don't know what to expect next.

Thanksgiving was fun for Mom & Dad, I couldn't go cause big dogs can't go in my human sister's house! It's in the rental agreement. Human sister thinks it's a really dumb rule, the dog can not go over 20lbs! I go WAY OVER 20lbs...4x, I weigh 80 lbs. Human sister said if it were and emergency I could go there, but Thanksgiving dinner wasn't an emergency! It was for me...I didn't get any turkey:o( But Mom gave me other treats, so I had a doggie Thanksgiving which isn't so bad since it was served up with a large dose of guilt cause Mom felt bad that I spent part of the day alone! hehehehehe

Well it looks like she's headed to bed finally, so go night my Dogster friends!

Grama

We've had extreme rain and some wind and we have been blinking on and off with the power, which makes it hard to stay in touch or update games. We're suppose to get more of the same tomorrow. We live out away for the city limits and we loose power when someone sneezes, we've been out for as long as 15 days...that's why we have a generator! So if you are playing any of the games that I host and I don't update as much as usual, it's because of the weather!

For those of you who have been praying for my Grama here's and update!
They have moved her cancer surgery up from late January to next Tuesday! She's pretty tired, she's had lots of surgery and procedures done the last couple weeks.

If you would like to see the face of the lady that you've been praying for look on my page and you'll see the 2nd picture with me and Grama at Easter! Isn't she cute? Thank you for all the prayers and words of encouragement that you've gave my family and I! We love you all!

Dad's says I gotta turn of the computer cause the wind is picking up again, so hopefully I'll see you all tomorrow!

My Friend Tosha

I just found out that my friend Tosha is in serious trouble. She has nerve damage due to a neck injury from years ago and she is now loosing feeling in her back end and tonight can't get up. She's as sweet as pup as you'll ever meet. If anyone reads this diary post, please pray for my friend Tosha and her family! She is a part of Dogster and her number is 997175. She is a member of PNP and probably more. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!

It's so hard to let go of someone you love! Her Momma must be so sad to see her beloved pup go through this.

We love you Tosha & Mom!

Big Sigh of Relief

Our family took a big sigh of relief...Grama had the surgery and everything looks better than they expected! Now we just have to wait to see when they are going to do the cancer surgery! Waiting is the worst!

I helped Dad put new knobs on the tub today, our bathroom is kinda small so he said I could just supervise from the hallway...which I did! And I did a good job of supervising! Nothing went right and he had to make like 5 tips to Lowe's! Poor Dad, plumbing is not his thing! He can do anything with wood, even made a musical instrument called a dulcimer! It's sounds different than his guitar's or mandolin or his violin! Mom says it sounds more twangy, but it's a pretty twang! BOL He likes to carve wood too, I watch.

My Grampa & Grama will come to our house and Grampa brings his guitar and he and Dad will play and Grampa & Momma sings. I love music, so I go get one of my stuffed animals that squeaks and play with them. They all think this is sooo amazing...like I'm dumb or something. I like playing my stuffies with them, it sound pretty and I want to be a part of everything they do, so I play my stuffies. They all laugh like it's the 1st time they've ever seen me do it...now who's dumb, I do it every time they play! My human sister plays the guitar and sings too. I guess we're just a musical family!

Well, Momma's headin towards bed, so Goodnight all you Dogster Furs!
