Arrival Story: after losing my former super star pet, pepper ... a flat coated retriever ... i was in search for a dog with the same qualities. i was on petfinder.com searching flat coats, and there was beatrice (zoe) although she was a border collie ... she was very close to be putting asleep because she was abandoned as a pup and was uneasy with people and super shy. i could not let that happen ... so i adopted her. with a lot of love and a little patience ... she is now a rock star and a lover! :) Bio: zoe is from southern illinois ... she was born under a shed in january. two of her brothers died. animal control took the pups then she went to a rescue. was deemed "not adoptable" ... we showed them!
