Well i'm back and i must admit i feel a lot brighter then i have been acting these past few weeks.
Mum discussed my fears through with the vet nurse and she didn't really say much apart from getting a DAP diffuser that we already have BOL. Mum used it for Tyler when he was a pup and went crazy in the crate, she used it for a good few weeks but it never made an ounce of difference so she's probably not going to use it on me either. HOWEVER my anal glands were full so now they've been done, mum is thinking maybe i might improve on the fear front. I was probably uncomfortable before and now they've been emptied maybe i will relax once more. Mum had to sit out in reception while they trimmed my nails..YES they did do them BOL! and while my glands were emptied. They had to muzzle me incase i snapped out but i didn't :) All mum heard was me whine and cry twice and the rest of the time i was being praised up and fussed over. It was very uncomfortable and scary as they was holding me very tight but it had to be done mum said :(
I was having a MAJOR panic attack in there! Heavy, heavy panting and whale eyes, trying to hang myself from jumping off the table :o
All the vets and nurses remembered me from my ribs and were very nice to me. Oh and that lump that mum thought was there is actually my rib..where it's fused together again it is slightly out of place but no cause for concern. They said it will always be like that most likely now.
Anyway, i'm a tired girly now so i'm off to sleep BOL.

The rib lump is a good and normal healing lump . Glad Mum is reassuerd.
The anal glands... well I cant say cos I never had a dog that needed them doing... but hopefully you are much more confortable.

We never had luck with the diffuser thing either- and they are not cheap!!

You had one very busy doctor visit! Glad all went well for you. I had several anal gland episodes about a year ago. Since then everything has been good. It sure did feel a lot better when they squeezed out the stuff!
Happy to hear that your rib is OK. We will NEVER forget hearing about that awful, awful day! Oh my! Doctors are just no fun are they? I'm glad you're all done with that poo poo! Thanks so much pups, i am very relieved it's all over and done with :)

xxxx oh Missy - it's not a nice experience being "pinned" down is it:( but your mum is right - these things have to be done and as long as you got lots of treats afterwards it's not too bad! I hate having my anul glands emptied - I try and sit down as hard as I can so they can't be reached BOL.
