Just before I passed, Mom panicked. She was all over the place looking for another me.
Her brother just said one word and cooled her jets so she didn't do anything foolish.
She did what she had to do with me shortly after and gave herself time. She was told to get another dog. Then, she was told to get rid of all the stuff that reminded her of me. She didn't because there is no way that would have been possible. She did donate my left over food to the wildlife park, but toys, leashes, heated dog house, etc. remained. She even said to herself almost daily, "Thank God I don't have a dog to worry about anymore." Yet, she would not sell my $500 cedar, heated dog house despite her falling on hard times.
Then, a casual friend sent her an email about a GSD being up for adoption at our local university vet program. Mom was instantly there. Of course, the dog was already spoken for.
Mom went a few days thinking, "Phew, I dodged that bullet." But, she didn't. She got on the computer and, "just for fun", searched for GSD for adoption.
She found my original Mom, Kay, had pups ready to go at the end of the year. A flurry of activity happened including Mom sending my memorial video to her. Mom has updated Kay about me over the years but not my passing. Too tough. We learned my father passed around the same time as me.
Mom and Kay clicked and Mom is going to look at little pups tomorrow. Mom has no idea what hit her. It was me.
To add to all of the coincidences, Kay and her hubby drive the same kind of vehicle as Mom and they will be meeting where they met in April of 2001. Where Mom found me.
Lobo, you are doing a good job watching over your mom at the Bridge. We will keep our paws crossed that everything will just as it should.
I miss you my furiend!
Thank you Sophie Claire and family.
You have encouraged me and my Mom so much over the years.
Here in Canada, our Thanksgiving was a while ago. In the US, it is now? We are thankful every day for friends like you.

We miss you sweet boy. When the time is right your mom can open another spot of her heart for another pup. I already know you have a huge chunk of your momma's heart, but I hope she can welcome another GSD into her life when she is ready.
Flicka and family,
People and furs will be blocking us as there will be no end to the posts, photos, videos of the puppy. So no worries on keeping everyone posted! Ha, ha.
She already has a name even though she hasn't seen the pup yet. Kelly. When Mom was little, she always wanted to name a GSD Kelly. Don't know why.
I was named by Mom's ex husband, Dave. It is a cool name. Dave is still a good friend and he and his beautiful wife will help with Kelly. They were there for me and Mom when my time came.
The magic may start for your Mom too. Very strange how things happen. Just keep an open heart. That is the hard part. People who hurt so bad that they find it so hard, are the people who should be our Moms or Dads.
Abby and family are partly responsible for what is about to happen. I was already a bit too old for us to meet physically. But wow did we all meet emotionally. Mom wants to for sure see Abby's family with the new puppy next summer.
Good job Lobo! I just knew you'd come thru sooner or later & ya did. I got a hunch Tasha had a paw in the pot too... betcha that's how ya stirred up a girl. But that's cool! I had a coupla sisters before Webster come around & they were sweet as the syrup on the sausages Dad shares with us in the mornin. So now all's ya gotta do is keep a good eye on her while she's growin up... girl or not she's a lil pup so she'll need that! ;0)
Ringo, you are so right on!!!
Mom was looking at my old videos, and Tasha was talking to Mom through them.
So she for sure had a paw in it. Her and Rosie and me and Max.
Would be a waste of a good human to not have a dog.
Lobo, your love and guidance will always be a beacon leading your Mom and comforting her.
The little pup will bring much joy. The pup will help heal your Mom's heart. At times, she will see you in the new pup and that will bring a smile to her face.
We send our love to you, Lobo, and often think of you and the other pups at the Bridge.
Your love knows no bounds.
Maybe it is a Christmas miracle taking place along with your guidance. We will be watching for the good news to be posted and will be sure to send a pal request asking Kelly to be friends with us just like you were. We love and miss you more than you know...
Coco Rose and Puffy
Thank you so much dear friends. I was successful in guiding Mom to Kelly. She will be causing trouble in our house in late December.
