Arrival Story:
I was working in a garden nusery and this little dog came in and was following a lady. I asked her about her and told me she was not hers. I thought she must of got out of her home so I put her in a hugh box and waited till closing time, but nobody came looking for her. I was going to ring our coucil pound, but my daughter said could we take her home and try and find her family. We tried for nearly 2 weeks with ads in papers, on our local radio station and notices in shop windows, but no one claim her......So what does a person do....could not send her to the pound .....so she found her new home. After about 4 weeks later she had her visit to the vets for sprayiing and they guessed she was about 5-6 months as she still had half of her puppy teeth.
Bio:
As she was a little terror..barking at any males that came in to the house..she DID NOT like them ..even still to this day she does not like many males...she was named Zena after a television show that was on at the time......

Oh Zena, how I miss you......
As I type this I look over where you, with George & Daisy Ann, are. It really does not seem right.....
I know you had....No.. we had 14 years of you in our life....we all knew one day you would not be with us , but you are never ever really prepared for it ..even though you were 14......to us it still was to soon for you to leave us.....Time just goes so fast.....
There are so many funny things that you did.
You were like a cat ready to pounce.....
You were always VERY agile...even up till the day you left us you were doing this....you use to walk along the top of the lounge..a five seater...till you got to the arm of the lounge...why you never just jumped up and sat there in the first place that is a secert you kept to your self.....
And the painful part was !!!..I knew you were asleep, but EVERY time I sat down, no matter what end of the lounge, you made you way around and sat on the arm and leant right on top of my shoulder.....and went back to sleep.....on the very few times you would sit next to me.....
You did a few times fall off the lounge arm...but what did you do....you just got back up again....
As our lounge was a corner one, I can remember once we could't find you....we looked EVERYWERE.....but there you were...you had fallen down, and instead of barking to let us know...you were sound asleep...!!!!
I'm glad to say this only every happen a few times over the years.!!!!

When My Kimberley took me, she had to fill out some forms, about me at the Vets.....and of cause my name on them was spelt "Zena"......
When I came back to the vets office so I could finially able to go home My Kimberley saw they had a different spelling of my name. Will she asked about the office and another Vet nurse said she had changed it as she thought it was spelt wrong......My Kimberley has terrible handwriting...***smile***
When Mum saw the spelling that made her cry more as that was the way they wanted it spelt when they first found me and gave it to me......BUT on my first visit to the same Vets many many many years ago the nurse at the time spelt it as Zena.....NOT Xena...
So as I heard Mum tell Dad.......our Little Warrior has finially got her proper name.......Xena.......

On Friday, I went for one last ride in our car.......
On Friday Lockie had his manood taken, and Our Kimberley drove Mum & Dad's car to work so he would not get scared.....
Not knowing to her, I was waiting for her to take me on that final ride home.
In the evening Lockie walked though the front door then Our Kimberley carried me and place me with...Daisy Ann & George......Poor Mum could not stop crying...I hope it was for me being home not for sadness that I'm not here anymore....
I may not be sitting next to her on the lounge or trying to sit on her lap at the table, but I do promise her I will never leave her heart...
What truly wonderful friends I have for the wonderful rosettes that I received.
How beautiful are all the words that were written to Me & Mum, kind words & througts they help so much. I saw Mum readiing them again and tears just started....
