Arrival Story:
I was an abused and emaciated Boxador on the Denver streets as a puppy, with no social skills. I was rescued from the streets by the Denver Dumb Friends League when I was 9 months old. Dumb Friends enrolled me in their Head Start program to help me get smart and learn to be kind and trusting and help me live a longer, happier life. I still have trouble being around most people and other animals I meet and I am slow to be trusting. I've actually gone to two psychiatrists! But once you get to know me and I trust you I am *extremely* loving. When I first met my daddy, shortly after being enrolled in Head Start, I trusted him immediately, cuz I knew he was a good guy. I jumped off my hind legs to give him a huge hug and sat on his lap. It was love at first face lick. I love my daddy more than anything and he tells me he loves me every day. I'm very lucky I found my best friend.
