Arrival Story: Please help Burton find a new home! Unfortunately I can no longer keep him and I am running out of time and options for this wonderful dog and very, very sweet great companion!
Burton is a handsome 75 lb lab-boxer mix who recently turned 7. I got him from Denver Dumb Friends League when he was 9 months old. He was an emaciated stray with no history and was in the Dumb Friends' Head Start program at the time. I have taken Burton to Ted Terroux's obedience program to help socialize Burton more. Burton has never bit anyone or any dogs, but he is protective of me and always on alert. He would probably not do well in a home with small dogs or children. He is up-to-date on all of his shots and I have his records. He is a very, very sweet and loving and very obedient dog in the home and has been my best friend for 6 years.
