Do you still have the wirehair doxie? I have always been interested in them since I lived in Germany in early 70's and most everyone with a dog has a wirehair doxie. Anyway, did the skin disease get better? Has the vet ever consider Pemphigos disease? I don't know if I spelled that correct but my wirehair Fox terrier had it and his foot pads were a mess and we treated this problem for over a year. Let me know how she is. I have a Scottie now and he is 9 (a rescue dog from the Dallas area) and he is my second Scottie, but I may think about a wire doxie next time. Where can you find a rescue?

Yep, we still have both senior wirehaired doxies.

They are truly awesome and special dogs.

As a matter of fact Pemphigus is what sophia was finally diagnosed with. We got all her allergies under control and so far no return of the disease!!! Thank GOD!

How is your dogs pemhigus?

I think you can google doxie rescue there are a ton of them depending on where you live.
