New Agility Title

I got my new Agility title certificate in the mail today. So it's official and I added the title to my name on Dogster. CTL1-F is a title in the CPE venue. So now I have titles in AKC and CPE. OA and OAJ are from the AKC venue. I hope to be adding more titles soon.

Agility weekend

Hi everyfur. As some of you may already know, I used to compete on the excellent level in Agility. But due to bad hips I now compete in Preferred. Which basically means that I jump 4" lower than my normal jump height. This weekend I had my first Trial at the lower jump height. The first day was great and I came in 1st place. I had an awesome time and I couldn't be happier to be back competing again in agility. Today wass the second day and I came in 2nd place. I can't wait for more trials. I didn't even want to leave the building today after the trial.

Here it is- the newest craze going around Dogster! It's called "You are loved!" Here's how it goes: Pick 3 Dogsters who you think are just fantastic and tell a little about why you feel that they are so pawsome! Be sure to tell them how much they are loved with a p-mail or a rosette! Then tell them to read your diary entry, where you explain 'how to pass on all this love!' Isn't it hard to pick only 3?

Here are my choices:

1st Choice: Clay. He is a cool guy that doesn't like the UPS man(me Niether) and he can play ball for hours...that's pawsome.

2nd choice: Noah. he is such a cute doggy. Plus he is a Harley dog. We're gonna go riding one of these days.

3rd Choice: Miss Dixie Monroe. She is a great pal. She does so much for All Fur Fun. She is an ASSet to the group. BOL!

Free Rabies shots

Boy did my people fool me this morning. I usually go swimming at a doggie day spa on Sundays. So when Curt (DAD) and Rae (his mom) got me all ready to go somewhere with my brother Julius I thought wow we are going swimming and Julius is coming....cool. Well we ended up going to the Rockland County Fireman Training Center where the Department of health is giving out free Rabies shots. Even thouugh they were free I said NO THANKS.
Julius was very nervous and jumped on some guys back. Dad apologized to the guy for having a 95 pound golden retriever jump on him. There was a reporter from the local newspaper there. She took a lot of pics of me and Julius. They will definitely be on their website but she said she's not sure which ones will make it to print in the newspaper. The website is The Journal News She thought that I was very cute so hopefully I will make it into the paper. Oh and I didn't even complain when it came time to

Agility

So this morning mom brought me to FDR park in Westchester. They had an agility match today. I LOVE to compete in agility macthes. I compete on the Excellent level. I have had to stop competing because I have some hip and leg problems. I am going to a physical therapist and I also do Hydro-therapy (which is a cool way of saying I go swimming alot) I also walk on a treadmill. I am doing all of this so that I can get my muscles strong enough to compete in agility again. Well when I got to the park today I was so excited that while mom was talking to some friends I just started "humping" the air. Mom was very embarrassed. I was also barking and howling like crazy. Mom tells me that I can do "Jumpers" which is not a full agility course but the obstacles in "jumpers" shouldn't hurt my legs. That's all for now
