days at the lake july 2010

i had a long ride to the lake where 2 big dogs wanted to play with me. i was so scared but all max and star wanted was to play. i'm a little old to play so i watched them go in the lake and play with a ball. looks like fun but i'm not much for water. i did go in but i wasn't happy about it. i never was in a lake before and i couldn't wait to get out. i rather sit on lounge and be pampered. but it was fun, i hated to go home.

jan 2010

it's winter and it's cold , mommy doesn't take me out much because of my
artritis and it bothers me. but i got a stoller for Christmas so now i can ride when i get tired of walking. now we have a neighbors dog we take care of because she works late. he can be a pain but i tolerate him. she found him living off the streets eating out of garbage, tried to find his owners but no one claimed him. my mommy treats him like a little prince and i'm the little king so it's ok. he's old but he's a mixed poodle only 11 lbs, he has health issues i tried and hide from him but he finds me. that's all for today

vacation 2009

went to mountains with mommy and friend. stayed with 2 other dogs. they were much bigger than me. after the first day they were good to me and when i went near the lake they chased me away. i got a ride on a boat , scarey, i only saw water when i got a bath so the lake was scarey but i had my life jacket on. we saw cows, and horses. i never saw a horse or cow before...i loved it and hated to come home i was having so much fun. now i'm home and getting back to normal routine...

sad

i haven't been on dogster much. since i lost my brother nico i've been so sad and my mommy is having a hard time with the loss of my brother. i try to make her happy and i know now she is devoting all her time to me and won't let me out of her sight. she even takes me to church with her. they don't mind because i'm very good and sit in the pew and i'm so quiet. good thing she's retired or she would try and take me to work with her. mommy cried a lot when nico went to rainbow bridge. i looked for him everywhere but now i'm ok. but i hate being alone so i guess that's why mommie takes me with her as much as possible.. today is 8/25/09. nico passed 4/5/09. i know nico is waiting for us at rainbow bridge.

surgery

i'm recovering from surgery, I had a luxating patella and a ACL tare in my knee.. surgery was 1/28/09. it went very well. this is the second day after surgery.. only trouble i'm having is trying to go poo. this splint is in the way i can't get into the right position. but i finally went. mommy tried to put me in a pen in the living room but i showed her ,i wasn't having any part of it.. so i'm back to sleeping with her and my brother in bed.. when mommy goes out i have to go in the pen. good thing my mommy is retired... well time for my medication and a good nap.

new year

i'm glad the new year parties are over...the noise scare's me... my mommy gave me meds so the noise wouldn't bother me... winter time now and i am
waiting for the snow so i can go out and play in it.

MOSES 5/31/07

I REALLY FOOLED MY MOM,,, I DIDN'T EAT ALL DAY , MOMMY WAS UPSET BECAUSE I DIDN'T EAT.. HA HA I WAITED UNTIL 2 AM AND I STARTED WHINNING AND LICKING AND WAKING MY MOM UP.. I JUST WOULDN'T LET HER SLEEP,, SO MY MOM GUESSED I WAS HUNGRY,, SHE WAS RIGHT,, SO I GOT TO EAT IN MOMMIES BED.. I WAS VERY CAREFUL NOT TO SPILL ANYTHING ON THE SHEETS.. I CLEANED UP MY BOWL.. I WONDER IF I COULD GET AWAY WITH THIS AGAIN.. I LOVE EATING IN BED...

moses

5/14/07 mom was so upset this morning , i don't know what happen, i couldn't put my paw down.. i didn't cry or whine. she fed me out of her hand so i didn't have to move.. she gave me medicine. she had to go to work and i know she was upset and sad all day.. but i was better running around when she came home... and she hugged me so hard.... and was laughing at me.. she made me a special meal... my favorite ceasers and real egg noodles,, with calfs liver.. maybe i will lift my other paw up tomorrow.. and get more liver and noodles...
