What type of dog is the larger of the two seen above? I had a beautiful English Setter - Samoyed mutt when I was a kid. She looked a lot like that dog.

Hi David! Chachi is quite a similar combination to that of your childhood dog. He is half American Eskimo and half Springer Spaniel. He has a soft, gentle temperament, which I attribute more to the Springer side. I am a complete sucker for white dogs. Your childhood dog sounds as if she must have been beautiful !!!!!
