I feel miserable! Humph!

I had surgery to remove the mass from my rib cage and it came out as fatty tissu. The dogtor told mom he had a hard time with it as the muscular tissues were entangled with the fatty tissu.

That's not all! He took all my teeth out except for 3 in the back! I can't chew anymore. He told mom my teeth should have been taken out when I was rescued. If mom knew, she said she would have had it done, cuz my teeth were painful. He put some thread in my mouth and it annoys me soooo much! I try to take it out of my mouth but mom won't let me do that. I tell her it bothers me to no end but she won't listen to me.

My body is wrapped in a large bandage so I won't scratch and now, she put the party hat on my head! Mooommm! Take this thing off, please! She told me she has to put it on my head as I am not a good boy and can't stop slapping my mouth with my paws to take that darn prickly thread out of there.

I heard mom talk to the dogtor and I hear him say I might have to have more stitches once my gums are healed to close the gaps. MORE THREAD! OH NO!!!

Surgery tomorrow

Mom told me I need to have that mass removed from my rib cage. The dogter told her I should have that removed as it is safer. Mom is a little worried as I am a senior gentleman and I have a slight heart murmur. I really don't want to have that surgery but I'll trust mom on it.

I am always so afraid of being abandoned again and not coming back home. Mom promised she would bring me back. My siblings told me she would too.

I Discovered "The Lake"

Wow,

This was fun! I just looove to go out for walks with mom and my siblings. She took us to that place close to home she calls "the lake". I've never been there before. I sniffed all I could and saw big white birds running after mom for food. I tried to steal some but mom wouldn't have it at all! What's wrong with eating corn? My sis Sammie didn't like these big birds. She thought they were noisy and yappy. She had a point but I didn't mind them as much as she did.

My cousin Guimauve kept on yapping along the way. That boy just doesn't when to shut up! My human sis kept on telling him to stop it but he was constantly "talking", until one of these birds came to close. As bold as he can be, he was running for his life!

My new sister has ear mites!

Mama took Peeckaboo to the vet today has she has real bad bacterial infection of the skin. The vet told mom she also has ear mites! I have nothing against my new sister but she always wants to stick around too close to me. I don't want to scratch my ears too! I told her to keep her ear mites to herself. Peeckaboo has been with us for only a week. She has been dumped by a puppymill breeder last week and mama said she was going to give her a home with us. Mom said not to worry about it as she treated her for the mites. She will put those darn drops in our ears too. All seven of us, just to be sure we don't have any. Yuck! I hate having my ears messed with!

She took Maddie along with Peeckaboo. Maddie is not happy these days because she has to wear a party hat. You that almost transparent round plastic thing humans put around our neck sometimes? It looks so silly and it's in the way too! Maddie is miserable. She has an allergie related rash on her tummy and scratches all the time. So mom decided to limit Maddie with that silly cone.

Things are kinda quiet when Maddie is not terrorizing the squirrels in the backyard. She doesn't even feel like barking. The neighbor's dogs call her and she doesn't respond. Now that's unusual for Maddie!
