Arrival Story: I was very sad in January of '04. I had rescued a Boston Terrier named Opie in October, who turned out to be a very sick little guy. Opie had an advanced case of heartworms. I took him to the vet for treatment but his heart was too weak and he didn't survive it and went to the Rainbow Bridge on 1/05/04. I cried & cried for this sweet little dog who just loved us so much! A week later on my birthday I came home from work and my husband was napping. He wanted me to lay down with him for awhile before we went out for my birthday. I went to my side of the bed and when I lifted up the covers there were two sleeping puppies! One was black with red brindle, one was fawn with black brindle. They had almost the identicle white blazes. Named after the characters on M*A*S*H, Trapper was the blonde one, just like Trapper John from the show. That's how I became the Mommy of my little Trappy! Bio: Trapper and his brother Hawkeye were thought to be full bred Boston Terriers by their first owners. By the time they reached 12 weeks it was obvious that they were not.
