Arrival Story:
I visited a friend who lives with a rat terrier and immediately decided I couldn't live alone any longer. That night I searched PetFinder for available dogs from area rescue shelters and did some research on breeds that would be most adaptable to my lifestyle. I found Nettie staying in foster care via the Marble Falls Animal Rescue SPCA and picked her up in Kingsland, TX a couple of days later. She was 7 months old.

Bio:
Nettie had been previously adopted and apparently mistreated by children. We are working on her mistrust of kids and her tendency to be over-protective. She changed her name from Nina to Nettie Belle when she came to live with me.
