Arrival Story:
Well, I had 2 cats, one getting on in years & I went to the pound/shelter thinking of adding a new cat generation. On the way to the cat room you walked past the dogs. Django was laying against the cage door looking back up over his shoulder. Very mellow and cute. Originally I was told that he was not available because they had identified the owner and were waiting for that person to show up. After a period of time if they did not show he would become available and whomever showed up 1st would be able to adopt him - no wait list. After my visit on Saturday I called the next Monday and was told he was available! Out of the cage he's pretty hyper (he's still like that for about 5 minutes when someone comes over). A bit more active than my cats, but not nearly as aggressive!!

Bio:
Like Mae West, Django can resist anything except temptation. He is very well trained, unless there is another dog or cat nearby that he wants to play with (then he yelps and hops). Overall, he is the SWEETEST dog I have ever seen. On a 1-10 scale of activity, he has two speeds (2) sleeping curled in a ball, or (9) running 25 miles an hour in the yard.
