Mom is writing in my diary, because she feels guilty for writing more in my brother's and sisters diary. My brother is always in trouble, and makes it easy to write about the crazy things he does & the trouble that he gets into. My sister had a scrape with death, and got to go for a ride in the car that didn't involve the Dr. or the groomers. I'm not really a fan of going for rides in the car. I don't go out of my way to get in trouble like my brother. The trouble that I create, is marking my territory- everywhere. anything new comes into the house, be it plastic bag, rug, anything that I can find a way to get to- I lift my leg to.I don't start fights with my brothers & sisters, I don't guard the dog food like my sister does- people food is another story... When the humans are present, I just lay and wish to be petted. When there is a squabble, I don't get involved until its clear who is winning and who is losing- then I help the winner by biting a leg, or tail, or something like that. But I'm not the one that the other is angry at- it's the one that got him/her on their back pinned, showing dominance.
My quiet place in this family is more than likely due to Princess, (my sister) was an only child for the first 3 yrs. of her life at mommy & daddy's house; and Dusty, (my brother) was the only child at my gramma's house. When they had to live under the same roof- all heck broke loose! They are the two that mainly engage in fights- both seeking alpha dog statis. Me, I came along almost a year after they combined households- I let them think what they want, I've never thought I was the only one. I never knew what it was like not to have to share with two other greedy dogs. I can tell you a secret though: they will fight over who is getting petted, and while they start in on eachother, I go get petted! They just don't know how smart I really am! Psst...don't tell!

Hello everyone, my name is formally Sir Lancelot. I really have yet to be called that... I go by Luster, or LusterBuster when I'm playful. I pretty much live life as royalty. I sit on a thrown, I feel that I am doing humans a favor when I allow them to pet my silky fur. I've been known to turn my nose up to many food items. I certainly do not lower myself to play with toys, what do they think I am, an animal? Contrary to how it sounds, I really do love my humans. I am very protective of them. I do have a brother, Dusty- he is a shih-tzu and two years older than me. I also have a big sister, Princess- she is a pug, and 5 years older than me.
