......the big news is I am getting a new baby brother! He is a black lab and mommy and daddy have decided to name him Hagan. I haven't met him yet but I will in about a week when they bring him home...

YIPPEEE!!!!! Someone else for me to play with, I love playing with puppies. Plus now Freya and Faolan can't keep calling me the baby of the family any more *smile*

Got my silver CGC

Dear diary

Whoop! Whoop! I got my silver CGC this past Saturday 17th March. Our internet has been so bad I haven't been able to write *sigh*..mommy says its something about 'Eskom' and 'load shedding'....whatever that means.

We got to McKaynine on Saturday and I was so happy to be there and see all my friends, I was jumping up and down, my mommy said, "Ozzy, today is not a good day to act like a banana"...do you call that rude?

So anyway, I got serious and then...it poured down with rain, I had to do my down stay in the drizzle on wet wet grass! But I did it! And all the other stuff too, my mommy was SOOO proud of me (and so she should have been!)

Birthday boy!

Dear diary

sorry I haven't written for so long, so much has happened and with all the power failures and internet trouble and other human stuff interrupting with my connection I have been a grumpy doggy.

But not today.....today it was my birthday! I turned a whole year old, I feel all grown up now. Mommy and daddy and Freya and Chi-May made a big fuss. Mommy made home cooked breakfast....mince and rice with doggy gravy....MMMMMmmmmm....slurp....I got loads of new toys and treats too, a new kong, squeaky toys, fluffy toys...I sure am spoilt!

Oh, and since I haven't had time to write and say, I did get my bronze CGC on Saturday the 8th of December, and me and Freya got second prize at the fancy dress for our hot dog outfits too!...But I didn't have the heart to write because my wonderfur big brofur Sasquatch got very sick, and he went to the bridge on 10th December, so I have been crying and missing him. I am starting to feel a bit better now, and I just know he is watching over me...

CGC

So...

My CGC exam is this Saturday morning...I am very good, except when I jump on mommy after the supervised isolation...but hey, I am just being a cute affectionate puppy, no?

Anyway, wish me luck...

After the exam there is the end of year function at my training school. There will be competitions, demonstrations and a fancy dress. Mommy and daddy will dress me (and Freya) as a hot dog! We have foam rubber outfits that strap to our sides like two halves of a hot dog roll with mustard and tomato and everything! A HOT DOG! BOL! I ask you! As if I look like a sausage! *snort*.... I think I will have to chew up that outfit!

HOORAY! I told my mommy I would show her, I passed my beginner obedience assessment with flying colours and got my rosette for coming third overall...not bad for a 7 month puppy hey mommy? Who had the attention span of a gnat now?

*giggle* I am SOOOOO happy!

On Saturday morning I have my first 'real' test, my beginner obedience assessment...

I think I will do fine, I' starting to get bored with going over the stuff, but mommy says I have to practice lots because I am going through my teenage phase and I have the attention span of a gnat. I think that's a pretty rude thing to say! Don't you diary? BOL! I will show her....

Wooowee! Am I ever happy! Mattie, the prettiest gal on Dogster agreed to be my girlfriend on my sister Freya's birthday, the 7th August. I sure am the luckiest guy ever!
