After quite an eventful summer, during which I learned to swim (love it!), stayed at a kennel for a week while mom was on vacation, visited my brother in Pennsylvania, and had all sorts of fun, I've moved apartments. I don't live ni Gramercy anymore. Mom says we live in the "financial district." Now we live in a huge building. It has 25 floors and 5 elevators. The lobby has doormen who say hi to me every time I pass by and marble floors and walls. I'm getting used to the apartment. It's bigger than the old one and is cleaner and lighter. There are lots of windows and I can actually sit on the bed and look out one of them! There is a long hallway from the front door to the living room that I like to launch myself from. The other day I cleared the futon by running down the hall and flying over the back of it. My people were impressed.

The neighborhood is very different. The buildings are really big and the smells are different. I'm distracted every time I go out to go to the bathroom. There are new dogs as well. I'm kind of grumpy meeting them which I know upsets mom. I should try to be nicer. We're close to the water. Mom and I have been running along the East River. It smells salty. I think I'm going to like it.
