Arrival Story:
I've wanted a Pyrenees ever since I was a child and watched "Belle and Sebastian", a cartoon about a boy who had a Pyr dog. I was in the market for a dog and saw an add in the paper. This couple has a farm near us in Florida and happened to have two females give birth to a plethura of pyr puppies! We drove up to the farm and the "Mom" asked us if we wanted a male or a female. We said we wanted a male. Next thing we know, a wave of white fluff balls ran out from behind the house. There were nine male pups! I had my eye on a HUGE one. But my husband had been watching one in particular. This one pup stole a piece of bread from the other pups and was smart enough to hide behind a tree to eat it. Then he marched around, very proud of his accomplishment. My daughter (who was four at the time) ran over and picked him up. She wanted to name him Sebastian (after the crustacean on the Little Mermaid). It was strange that I had wanted to name him Sebastian (after the boy in the cartoon). It's been almost nine years and the three of us know we picked the right puppy!

Sebastian is lover to all except flying foreign objects, armadillos, squirrels, bunnies, snakes, and lizards. He's a big, white, furry rug.
